Nuclear weapons are covered under the 2nd amendment.

I disagree. Based on the principal that indiscriminant weapons are in a different class, mines, bioweapons, and nuclear devices should be out of the question for ordinary citizens. To argue otherwise is to open up the legality of firearms of all kinds to attack because the opposition can say without any distinction between the two, all arms should be banned. Second amendment proponents should all be aware of this important principal.

Instapundit's comments on this subject are well worth reading. Of particular note is the email he posted from a former CNN employee.

Someone else here will know the answer to this question: What's the name of that trick shooter who can empty a six-shooter in about 1 second? I've seen him once or twice on TV. It's incredible to see: six shots, all on target, in under a second.

. I read the 2nd ammendment to include the little qualifier dealing with "need for a well-regulated militia"

You forgot "necessary for the security of a FREE(I repeat..FREE) state. It's not a qualifier either. It's actually a clause dependent on the second part of the statement. "The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".

something like the restrictions on free speech that makes it criminal to yell fire in a crowded theater.

Apples and oranges. Look up "prior restraint".

Not that that really matters.
You're right. Dianne Feinstein is a gun grabber and owns a gun as well. Okay for me, not for you.

But that is all besides the point. What's more telling is this. It sure looks like from reading your earlier post that you don't care about lies in the media when it comes to implimenting your freedom grabbing agenda.

In the first of the two segments that aired Thursday, a Broward County detective fired the AK-47 in semiautomatic mode, and the camera showed bullets hitting a cinder-block target. The detective then fired a legal semiautomatic weapon, and CNN showed a cinder-block target with no apparent damage. On Friday, CNN admitted that the detective had not been firing at the cinder block.

So it was FRAUD. Actually it might have been WORSE than what they were admitting. Check out this analysis by the Media Research Center. The second rifle might not have even been using bullets at all:

Upon looking at the MRC videotape frame by frame, with the first rifle you could see a puff of smoke coming out of the end of the barrel as the deputy fired. But with the second gun, you could not see anything, as if no bullet were being fired.

So inquiring minds wants to know if CNN perpetrated fraud by arranging a rifle demonstration where the second rifle didn't even have bullets.

I don't agree with the sentiment either, but I was just made Chair of a 4-town area on Monday and the guy I took over for said he'd own any of those if he had the money to do so.

Moxy! But I think Sun Tzu would have said tactics are as important as the weapons with which they are executed.

A few rifles in the right hands could be worth more than a thousand nuclear weapons deployed improperly.

Jerry Miculek. I believe he holds three records, 6 shots in 1 sec., 2 targets four shots 1.06 secs. , and fastest 12 shots 2.99 secs.
