There was a sustained period of reduced terrorism prior to the presentation of the "road map" and prior to the birth of the new PA's PM and coverning body. There was a REAL "threat of peace". The radical groups were holding back. Sharon's IDF was NOT. There was absolutely no indication that Sharon's "Painfull Concessions" were at or anywhere near the horizon. Sharon dissed Powell (Bush).

Apparently the Palestinian militants suspected that capitulation would be "rewarding terrorism".

Everybody's screwed the pooch.

I have to ask. Are you retarded? Is your hatred of Israel overcoming your ability to reason.

Add to what you wrote above the fact that when Israel "gestures" as required by others, Israelis die.

If they could these people would attempt to murder Israelis 365 days a year. If they can't it's because of what Israel does to prevent that occurring.
