Wow that's awesome.
My Dad fought in Korea, and his older brother (a Marine) is buried at Iwo Jimo.

This is a subject that makes me see red! They would never issue a stamp that commemorates the birth of Jesus. They have a tokan Madonna stamp each year but it is a copy of 'art' through the ages which probably makes it 'second hand' and not a representation of the holiest time of the year. The stupid ass at the post office tried to pawn some of these EID stamps to me last year and I told the clerk what could be done with them. Then the dumb ass pulls out a sheet of 'Kwanzaa' stamps, which I also gave directions for. I ended up buying flags before that also is illegal.

What? You're actually thinking about this issue instead of embracing the popular knee-jerk conservative line?

like the devout muslim who took it upon himself to murder his superiors in kuwait? that story has fizzled out, i guess it's too un-PC for the media.

>>The French are not Muslims, nor are the Germans or the Russians<<

What have the Germans and French (whose leaders are terrified of their own overwhelming Muslim population) done to harm the U.S.? How could you compare the tragedy inflicted upon the U.S. and around the world by Islam with anything these countries have ever done to the U.S.?

What you see is the multiculturalist/diversity doctrine at work. To the diversity crowd, who now permeate our k-12 schools, universities and media, all cultures are equal and must be celebrated, except one. The American traditional culture, with its Judeo-Christian underpinnings, is sexist, racist, oppressive and evil, has harmed the non-western world and must be dismantled. Whenever anyone protests they scream 'racist.'

People need to wake up and fight back, or we shall lose our culture entirely! Just wait until we import a few million more African and Asian Muslims. Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia come to mind--Tito's failed diversity experiment.

I would not send a letter to even a Muslim soldier with this stamp on it. I have no idea what the text says. I read and write English. Our US stamps should be in English. I refuse to support such stamps as this one or any stamp with a foreign language on it.

Is there a US stamp with Jesus on it? Is there one with Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays?

What do you think would happen in Saudi Arabia if someone tried to print a stamp with Merry Christmas on it? I am tired of the PC stuff being shoved down our throats.

I'm very surprised to see this coming from the Bush Postal Service. This is more like something Clintoon would have done.

I think it was. It came out on the unfortunate date of Sep 1, 2001.

So I think it's kind of neat that a Muslim in America can buy a stamp commemorating their holiday and sent it to their friends.

There are a lot of Clinton hold overs still in office that need to be looking for a new job. Maybe they could get employment making hideouts for Texas Democrats who don't want to do the people's business...
