I despise cats with every fiber of my being. They are ill-tempered, haughty beasts.
When Mrs. CD and I started dating, about seven years ago, "NO CATS, EVER" was my only rule.
I would rather have a goat living in my house.

Be sure you weed out any cat lovers. I did, and am a happy man as a result.
My best friend was not so lucky.
He married a woman who had 3, count 'em, 3 cats she had had since childhood.
She got pretty mad when he and I went out drinking to celebrate when the 2nd one died of old age recently.
2 down, 1 to go, he told her!
