One of the guys at the unit had two of these subject lines in his email yesterday. He asked me to look at them, "Man, they look like a virus to me." I told him, "nah. They're probably a come-on for porn! Either way, you know what to do..." "Yeah. Delete 'em." And he blew them away.
Today that mailserver (us.army.mil!) which runs, kinda, on Windows 2000 dropped like a rock and the bozos that the Army employs to admin it have given a series of up-times which they have consistently failed to meet (1900, 2100, 2300... the system dropped sometime between noon and 1500 EDT).
When they couldn't keep up with 13 year old kids defacing www.army.mil, they finally moved it off NT. But other systems require admins with more training and more ability to mentally handle abstraction, so the Army probably can't do it systemwide. In other words, we'll see this again.
