In something out of a bad "Skinemax after dark" movie, you had this group of women that went around Blair County and nearby areas to break into churches and graveyards to have sex with each other. Eventually, jealousies arose, leading to murder.
According to reports they took a week to find a jury for this case, partially because of the sensationalized nature of the case, but primarily because, as was explained on WTAJ during a local news broadcast, the main problem seems to be finding jurors who don't "find lesbian relationships to be inappropriate."

It's encouraging that the prospective jurors did find homosexuality inappropriate. Just hoping it wasn't a convenient dodge, so that they could get out of jury duty.

The victim was a relative of one of my patients. She was seduced by the other two lesbians, then killed when jealousy sprang up between the two that seduced her.
Typical homosexual pathology.
But the laimstream media does not even mention the perversion at the roots of this murder.
Typical mainstream media censorship of ANYTHING that might cast a negative light on the homosexual agenda.
This girl once attended a vibrant independent evangelical Christian church. She simply fell in with predators.
Please pray for her and her family.

Judgementalism, making a much needed comeback, real soon!

The article DID mention that it was related to lesbian relationships. So what's your point?
Also.. what is the point of this article? To prove that lesbians commit murder too?

Praying for her parents, the mother seems to appear particularly guilty about not teaching her daughter to be wary of others. My God help them get through this.

The article DID mention that it was related to lesbian relationships. No, it does not say "lesbian" or "homosexual."
So what's your point?
Media censorship of anything reflecting negatively on homosexuality.
Also.. what is the point of this article? To prove that lesbians commit murder too?
Obviously, the article HIDES the FACT that this was a lesbian murder. So the article itself obviously is NOT intended to prove that lesbians commit murder too. In fact, that point is specifically censored out of the story.
Which is the reason I posted this: to highlight media censorship of anything that might reflect negatively on homosexuality.

Sounds like they were into more than lesbian sex. Sounds from the description you just posted they were also deeply into
Satanic rituals.
Breaking into churches and digging up graves is very kinky and weird stuff. These perps deserve to be locked away for the rest of their lives. They will have all the lesbian sex they desire in prison.

It specifically says that the murder was precipitated by a perception that the victim was stifling a relationship for the other woman. What more do you want?

The title says nothing about the lesbo triangle. That's his point.
To: Qwerty
a perception that the victim was stifling a relationship for the other woman. What more do you want?A "relationship" does not in any way imply "a lesbian relationship" to the average reader.
The reporter knew this was a lesbian love triangle, but hid the fact by using such words as simply "stifling a relationship."
This is media censorship.
And as you are a publicly self admitted lesbian on this Forum, you are not in any objective position to say otherwise.

So what should the title have been? Lesbian love triangle murderer convicted?

For that matter, the article itself says nothing about the lesbian triangle, and uses wording specifically chosen to cover up the real nature of the relationship.

Well I didn't feel mislead in any way. I guess the choir will be along shortly.

Lesbian murderer convicted of lesbian love triangle killing. The headline gets better and better.

Well I didn't feel mislead in any way. No, I'm sure you are quite pleased with this kind of media censorship.
But if it was a redneck murdering a homosexual, you would be the first to scream if the "sexual orientation" of the victim were not trumpeted on the front pages of the NYT.
Just look at the disparity in media coverage between the Matthew Shepherd case and the Jesse Dirkhising and/or Mary Stackowics cases.
I doubt you are even aware of the latter two, but EVERYONE knows about the former.

The headline gets better and better. The reality, from which you vainly attempt to deflect and distract, is that the title "Woman convicted in beating death" as well as the article censor the Truth of the matter.

The story contained that it was over a relationship. That's pretty clear to me. Apparently you read the same article and came to the conclusion that it was a lesbian relationship as well.
"But if it was a redneck murdering a homosexual, you would be the first to scream if the "sexual orientation" of the victim were not trumpeted on the front pages of the NYT."
No I wouldn't, unless the murder happened solely because of the victim's sexuality. If it happened over an insult at a bar, or a soccer game, I wouldn't expect it to be mentioned. Get it?
