I read "Letters To A Young Conservative" and loved it. I've since had to replace my copy because it practically fell apart!
To: Cathryn Crawford
Read Illiberal Education and The End of Racicsm, too. I LOVE Dinesh D'Souza! He is on the same plane as David Horowitz, IMHO.

Sounds entertaining. Aristotle said our highest faculties are serious.

I love him, too. Just finished his bio of Reagan - great writing.
To: Cathryn Crawford
When I first got my copy , it was a good read. Now it is a textbook. D'Souza is great.

He is fantastic! I am published (no bragging) but he is so wonderful for such a young man. I just love him. His book on Ronny is as worshipful (is that a word?) as one I would try to write.
Happy Mothers Day!

Where are you published? I am, too.
And it's not bragging, it's self promotion!
To: fish hawk
He absolutely is. I love him.
To: Cathryn Crawford
Review sounded great. Now, after these comments, I just put my order in. Thanks.

(Living proof that a Conservative can spring from a "Liberal Arts" education.)

It's a start! Do you want to do it for a living?
Check my profile for mine.

I'm without an oar right now. I am Mom-ing, which I love. I am nearly an MBA, but I hate the whole banker/wall street thing and I am in OK, small county and overeducated for most available jobs, now. I have a BA in Psych but dislike counseling miscreants (plus the pay sux). I spent about 15 years selling cars (DON'T LAUGH! It's hard and demands your whole life.)
I am working on getting my teaching credential for Adult Ed, Continuing Ed. It's in the works, so I'll know in some few months.

Writing is sooo much fun! I know I sound like an enthusiastic kid (which, I suppose, I am, as I am nineteen), but I just love doing it. It's so invigorating, exciting, and just the best thing in the world. I want to do it for the rest of my life.
To: Cathryn Crawford
Keep your enthusiasm! I was an English major at your age and loved writing poems and short stories. It is the best thing you can do with your life!
Best,
Anny
