Ok...by now anyone who has seen my post, sees I got excited...lol
The .45 HK carbine in question in that funkyass gray color is the USC...not the USP (which is a pistol as we all know).
The new full auto version of the USC is called the UNP....all according to my black gun loving little brother.
My bad.

We should have law-abiding citizens carrying whatever they want, wherever they please. Agreed. Increase of freedom and increase in security.
And the protection permeates everywhere, terrorists couldn't pick and choose unprotected targets because there wouldn't be any.

Interesting that the AP story does not mention the third selector position of full auto. I do not know the rate of fire, but most of the media likes to state that a fire arm of this type (in civilian hands) fires 800-900 rounds in one minute. Never mind that the magazine capacity is 30rds.

Looks like South America. Are these Boston dirt bags expecting the local revolutionary guerillas to attack.

But even without these MP-5's airports already have the highest armed guard to target ratio around.
I very much doubt that.
I'd lay odds that the Cowboy Action Shoot I'm attending this weekend has a greater armed presence than any airport.

No kidding. I had a M60 go off about a foot from my ear once... that sucked. I couldn't hear for about two days.

I hate to be cynical but I'm not impressed. I have been at BNA for flights or to meet folks and seen overweight Guard guys and gals strolling around toting their M-16/AR-15 variants and I was not impressed like I would have been if it were these guys:

I don't know if I would have had the guts to yell at him if he had, but it surely would have made me emotionally-charged.Wonder what would happen if you're car backfired while slowly driving by him?

What the heck does that mean ?Trying to translate presspeak is always guesswork. I'm guessing it means the things have laser or red dot sights installed.

I thought that might be it, but it makes me laugh every damn time when I read things like that and descriptions like "30-round clips"...
