I HATE the democrats.

They can all go to hell, and they inevitably will.

Supreme Court nomination in the works? That is what I think. Change the rules on judicial nomiations, then nominate Estrada to the high bench....makes sense. Don't forget how Our President has outfoxed the demons at every turn.

I doubt he simply pulled the plug on his own,
probably a White House political decision.
And if so a big mistake. Cannot give
to Democrats on the Judges.

Miguel Estrada Wants Name Withdrawn From Nomination, CNBC Says

By Patricia Azer

Washington, May 9 (Bloomberg) -- Miguel Estrada has ``raised the possibility'' with the White House of withdrawing his name from the appeals court nomination, financial news network CNBC reported, citing unidentified people close to Estrada.

Estrada, President George W. Bush's choice for a federal judgeship, will likely not withdraw his name because the White House ``would like to continue the fight to break that Democratic filibuster threat up on Capitol Hill,'' CNBC said.

Freepers, rather than waiting to see what happens with Estrada, we need to take the lead. That means presuring Senators, special interest groups, media organizations, etc. This thread is meant to be an ongoing effort to get this man confirmed. For too many years liberals have had their way on the courts. Now, President Bush is in a position to move the courts to the right. The election of '02 showed that the country is with the President. I think it's time to let Daschle, Hillary, and Pelosi know this is Bush country. Are you with me! Let's FREEP these people.
