Yes, I really said it ( said it at least twice, so far, on this thread!), I mean it, AND I'm a woman, who probably knows/understand politics far better than the vast majority of men here, and in the real world. LOL
To: nopardons
We're just having some fun here--this isn't what I or any woman I know bases her vote on.
And if you're so appalled by this discussion, why, pray tell, are you still involved in it?
To: FairOpinion
I know, I know, and it SHOULD be becuase of what President Bush has done/ wants to do ... instead of the way he looks . All of this drives me nuts; however, I do want him re-elected AND for the GOP to expand its majorities in both Houses.

OMG! You really said that! I agree whole-heartedly!
Looks like "nopardons" is a real woman, that always includes a nice set of brains. The rest is icing.

I have seen Edwards and he is one scary dude.Don't be scared. There is a financing scandal brewing around Edwards that might sink his candidacy.

You're
still " clueless AND you're a newbie. You may have finally " seen the light " ; however, there IS a contingent, here, which has drooled over the president, endlessly, for years. It ain't pretty and neither is it " harmless fun ".
Why, pray tell, do you assume that you have any right, at all, to question someone's right to read/post to any thread here ? This is, after all, a CONSERVATIVE P-O-L-I-T-I-C-A-L FORUM; not a chat room, a women's conciousness raising session, nor a " hen party ".
Now, just WHY did YOU vote for Slick Willie; twice, I assume ? Did ya think he was " sexy "? So many Liberal females did/ do, and voted for him, mainly for that reason. ;^)

I have never seen the reason for Edwards great popularity with the media. There's no accounting for taste.

Blush...thank you. :-)
I'm a gourmet cook too.Oh yes, and VERY married. LOL

Come on, sister, give it a second read. It's pretty funny.
Liberals make such a fetish of intellect. But who cares how smart you are if you can't make a decision and follow through? Mr. Clinton could not seem to do that with foreign policy, or with Miss Lewinsky.
To: Jeff Chandler
"Well, that does it. I'm just going to have to buy myself a jumpsuit. "
---
LOL! Actually you could just start by taking your wife coffee in bed, as Bush does.
To: nopardons
So, I take all that to mean that you think W is a hottie.... :)

"All of this drives me nuts; however, I do want him re-elected AND for the GOP to expand its majorities in both Houses. "

Well, in that case, lighten up, join the fun and the "GW fan club". :)
To: hellinahandcart
I read and agreed with that part! BTW...HI...long time no see. :-)
But, I still think ( know ! ) that females who vote for a candidate, because they " think he's cute/sexy/a hottie ", shouldn't be allowed to vote.
To: xbar
"The ladies elected Clinton. What if the ladies find Edwards sexier than Bush? This is grossing me out. But sadly it is true."
---
That is exactly my point. I don't care what personal reason people vote for GW, just so they vote for him. You've got to be pragmatic about this.
That's why we have to keep posting pictures of Bush in a flysuit. ;)
To: AmericaUnited
Nope and I think he has hip displasure/ suffers from the results of childhood ricketts/ affects the bowlegged gait of an old timey cowboy, or some such. I cringe everytime I see him walk.
I am no drooling sychophant and would vote to re-elect him, if he looked like Herman Munster, from the old series.
