sigh this is old ground
the us marines fought in the tiny @old@ town of uhm qasir for 5 days, and didnt take it (royals came in and the usmarines moved out).
Did brits critise the US marines suggesting @ooh 5 days and cant secure a small
town@? Nope, we realised that its a damn sight more complicated than that, that the old town was probably not an objective, and that the USMarines had probably been given another objective.
So please, do not start this argument all over again
