One other thing, can you imagine this report being seen by Hillary BEFORE it was made public? In time for her to put her own spin on it? All Im saying is, the people who should be blamed will never be held accountable. So why worry about report that will never be completly honest and forthcoming..?

The report is going to be released. According to the article Justine linked to they're just arguing over classifications.
Where did you two get the idea it won't be released?

"Because Raimondo wants to see it."
Doubtful, then Raimando wouldn't be able to blame the "evil Zionist" once the truth come out. This moron (Raimando) reminds me of Michael "Mr. Liar" Rivero, nothing but hate the Jews/Israel/Zionist. How brown is Raimando's shirt anyways?

That's just what I was thinking - great thought!!
x42 was toooooo busy to protect us. He used the FBI as his personal hit squad. He decimated the CIA to appease our enemies.
The answer to 9/11 is so easy ...!!

I miss Michael Rivero, and he immediately came to mind as I was reading Raimondo's effort. He would have been a wonderful addition to this thread.

The truth according to whom? -Gee, that's a real good question, why don't you go ahead and answer that one. I already know the correct answer.

"How is it that the mightiest nation on earth, a country that spends tens of billions per year on intelligence-gathering, was taken so completely by surprise?" An argument can be made that Clinton's decision(s) to slash spending for FBI, CIA, military, etc. allowed for 9/11 to be a "success".

I have no use for the Bushs, but let's be fair and reasonable. Every day there are probably 1,000 threats delivered by some kook or another. Given any catastrophie it's very easy to do a review of 10.000 threats to declare three of them indicate what somebody should have known all along.
The fact is, any groups of clowns, it they can maintain secrecy among them, can commit a terrorist act. The second fact is, after the terrorist act another group of clowns can devise theories about how it was all obvious from the beginning.

No matter how it's currently being tweaked and re-stated
for contemporary consumption, virtually EVERYTHING in this
piece was introduced, run up the flagpole, insinuated and hinted at at least a year ago. This Admin. has fessed up as
to what was on its desk and what was not. What could have been an appropriate reaction to rumors of plane hijackings
being orchestrated by terrorists? Close down all airports?
Round up all Arabs? Detain any and every Muslim with a suspicious background? Would that have stopped 9-11? This Admin. has gotten nothing but criticism for doing very judiciously just SOME of these things AFTER 9-11, when almost ANY protective measure could be justified, or at least rationalized. I hate to think what kind of firestorm would've occurred if they'd done it BEFORE 9-11.This is the classic NO WIN situation.
