You got it! She either is a dope, or is on dope, or both. And I have heard lately that she has the little girl staying with the grandparents. You know, I realize grandparents are great for a kid, but still, a little kid like that gets attached to her mama and wants to see her every day. But apparently Amber is too busy with her theatrics and her personal passion play to be bothered with the daily, nitty-gritty work of parenthood. Just another mother who thinks she can check out of a very small child's life for weeks at a time, and the kid will still be just fine. It was that sort of thinking that helped make Bill Clinton and the Unabomber and Ted Bundy what they are today. (Bundy, of course, being a decomposing body.) Each of those people's mothers seems to have also left them with others for long periods when they were very young. Although Unabomber's mother might be excused, b/c the baby was in the hospital for an extended period and it really wasn't her fault. But, in my amateur opinion, the effect was the same.

And supposedly he didn't even tell his own parents about this major crisis until the next day.

Are Sabatino and Brazelton political enemies? Just wondering.
To: mass55th
They do that? LOL!! Well, it's good to see there's some humor to the job! Hey, maybe you guys need to start taping their shows and start them a video library. If you don't give them service, they might not patronize your "hotel" again, lol!! What a loss that would be!
To: Velveeta
Thanks for the pics!!! What a happy smile Santa has. Reminds me of the one at Laci's candlelight vigil.

When they start to complain we say: "Hey! People come from all over the state to stay with us...that's how good we are."

So Laci wasn't okay with the affair? But OTOH, it wasn't anything that was going to break them up? Yeah, okay. That makes much more sense. I mean, it's certainly obvious that he had apologized to her for it and was doing everything in his power to make amends to her...I understand the sarcasm and, please don't take this like I am picking on you Devil but this statement has been misqouted enough. It is not correct and it IS extremely predjudicial. I KNOW it also sounds really lame but we can pick the "lameness" apart, it is just that when eveyone keeps relating this statement as if it were a fact they are only "helping" SP with his case,
Here's my point; I first heard this statement her followed by 2 differant media stations. I was like, "no way, he really said that?" "I'm getting a paper."
Most people are not as interested as we are in this case. They would hear that statement from 2 media stations and withiut reading the thing for themselves just take their word for it.

brazelton is suppose to be a Republican, and Sabatino is a Democrat, but as mayor, you hold no political party ties that are voted based on party. You are based on, you, what you present, people believe, vision, and after all said, those unions, papers, and party line affilliates, will send mailings, and articles for people to vote, because they are a party of ???
If I remember right, Brazelton didn't find any wrong doing when that airline hostess brought fourth information to a grand jury against Gary Condit. So, Condit wasn't under a grand jury indictment, from the Chaundra Levy case. He felt there was not enough evidence to have a Grand Jury investigation, and made many upset by that decision because they felt there was. Don't know, only what news stated.

"Scott is doing well. Scott looks forward to proving his innocence in this matter and in addition to that, Scott looks forward to finding out who did this to his wife and to his child, Connor," Geragos said. No mystery who bought OJ's playbook off eBay.
To: RGSpincich
Scott looks forward to finding out who did this to his wife and to his child, Connor," Geragos said. At least they're not claiming it could be a suicide like the Susan Ostrich look-a-like defense attorney on Greta's show.
To: Devil_Anse
You speak of rebuttal. Since when does the defendant in a criminal case get rebuttal? The defense -- whether criminal or civil -- gets surrebuttal. The point is not the terminology but correctly anticipating how your opposition will present its evidence and argument.
To: RGSpincich
Scott looks forward to finding out who did this to his wife and to his child, Connor," Geragos said, This is why Scotts family is paying for a big bucks lawyer. Scott, whenever he actually mentioned the baby, referred to him as "the kid" Geragos is trying to make SP into someone who actually cares/cared, about his wife and unborn son........ There's no way in the world I'm ever going to believe that!
To: Devil_Anse
The prosecution rested (with visions of a really great rebuttal in their heads.) My friend made the motions for directed verdict of acquital, etc., then she said simply: "the defense rests." Needless to say, she won the case. Yes, you have to correctly put yourself in your opponent's shoes and make sure that they will not choose to forego their opposing evidence to forestall your rebuttal. My experience -- particularly in criminal cases, but in civil cases as well -- is that juries have a tough time when the defense presents no case and simply tries to poke holes in the prosecution/plaintiff's case. Juries particularly want a story, a theme and simply pointing out deficiencies in the other side's proof is generally not enough.
To: alexandria
it kind of left me with the impression that you know how good this guy is. No, not at all. But the real pros in any prosecutor's office are not the elected prosecutor (who is primarily a politician). I am generally familiar with Stanislaus County and a prosecutor's office in a County of that size will have enough murder cases (and other tough felonies) to have at least a couple of really good guys on their felony trial team.
My only point is you shouldn't judge the efficacy of the prosecution by the politician hogging the camera. The guy who does the actual courtroom work will be much better.
To: clouda
Clouda, thanks for the pictures! This depicts a rather disgusting light (as if we don't know)into the real Scott Peterson.
To: Wednesday's Child
There's no way in the world I'm ever going to believe that! I agree, talk is cheap. Show me the pictures. WITH Amber's testimony that the pictures were not doctored.
To: alexandria
responding to a call, they approach either you meeting them via near the patrol car, or outside where the incident took place, or you invite them in the immediate entry door space to talk to them. If I know PD, then MPD officers responded to that call, most likely asked Scott if inside his home if they can come in and talk to him. In which he said no, or sure and opened the door, or told him, get a search warrant. One reason, theory that leds me to believe that later is because, in adult missing cases, multi agencies don't go out in a short time to do a massive hunt, like they did in Laci, so something Scott did or said caused that to happen. Hence the rest is history caused by Scott's actions of Laci disappearance/murder.
