I think Robert Shapiro stated it nicely on MSNBC a little ago... Matter of factly...lol.. And from the sounds of it, and the look on Mr Shapiro's face, like he is saying to Mark Geragos, man did you stick your hands in mudd this time. Stating Mark can bring a few good things for representing SP, media experience, trial experience, and good at the prelim experience, but Shapiro was stating that when in the heart of the case, better have all your tests, case load expertise, ducks in a row all lined up. Bottom line, this is a hard case, and tough, but to win, must disprove, or prove cause of death. (summed up from that segment)

Man, Shapiro .....he had this strange smile on his face....;o)

And...it wouldn't cost the 2-3 million Dan Abrams said was the reason the Petersons said they couldn't afford him for Scott. He sat down with them after Scott was arrested and explained what his fee would be for the trial. So much for this "evidence"

Dang, I was off sewing curtains again, and missed it; thanks for the synopsis.

Now waiting for Greta, and time to ring the beverage of your choice bell!

part of the other reason is Marcia Clark and Chris Darden were disliked by many from the public. Marcia was atooned to a "b#tch... Darden a bumbling sour puss. Marcia Clark went so much as to re-do her image. Remember? True, there was mountains of evidence stacked against OJ. Then the audiance educational knowledge, let alone didn't have a clue of all that DNA blood evidence, and lost the audiance when they explained, in long winded testimonies. And let alone the hatred for LAPD too from the black population.... (a lot of cards stacked against the case right away. They tried to convict, but as you know history, didn't convince those on that jury.)

Question: Heard a NY attorney today on the Press-Buchannon show state (paraphrasing) that a capital offense trial is different from all others and the attorney should be experienced, versed in such a trial because death was involved. He didn't know if Geragos had that experience but didn't feel that he did. He could bring on someone as an assistant who was.

First time an attorney impressed me so much as this one did, not one of the regulars appearing on everyone's talk show. His name: Stephen ?, bald, 40ish, prominent NY atty AND ethical! (I remember his partner's name was Desportes.) Can anyone help me out?

BTW, with Geragos's shrewdness and Scaught's pathological lying, I'm a little apprehensive about this trial.

I say so too... ;o)

Yes, for Lee blasting off like that, Larry should of said something like, Lee hold on a moment, we have to take a break, and beline to the phone and tell him to cool it, or he is cut off...

I meant to say the penalty may be death for the defendant.

Stan Goldman on Greta, opining on why Geragos took case: Maybe after coming off the loss of W. Ryder's case, he's looking to get back in the limelight.

He asked Geragos after the hearing today, and Geragos said after talking to parents and Scott, Geragos himself had been 'bamboozled' by press coverage. Geragos told judge he had been retained by the family-wonder how many members of the family are contributing to this?

Susan Caudillo, Scott's sister, on tape, pleased Geragos on board; she's sad that Scott has to stay in jail-boo hoo.

All we have right now is his own statement of when he left the house, does not mean he actually left then, does it?

True. Now we hear the launch ticket has a time stamp of 1:36 PM. That's nearly two hours later than the previous time stamp report, if true. So there's a couple of extra hours that may render a 10:30 AM Laci sighting useless to the defense. Even after saying that, it's my opinion that the Laci sightings on the 24th are cases of mistaken identity.

Witnesses were probably encouraged and coached by a representative of the SP Hotline. I'm basing my thoughts on that by how the Mitchells suddenly popped into the media after weeks of silence. A very media savy campaign started and was suddenly stopped when the Mitchells became confused over dates of the sighting and the date they talked to the police dispatcher. Even after being interviewed over the phone by police, they contend they were ignored by police. I believe they were influenced by others of certain details in their recollection of the events surrounding their supposed Laci sighting.

I don't understand how Scott avoided the telltale tan lines around that certain finger as the golfer he was? He's always pictured wearing a wedding ring with Laci, yet I don't see a tan line in any of the pictures with Amber, which makes wonder if he used fake tan?

Or perhaps he went to a tanner salon?

Feiger saying I guarantee Geragos is doing this for free. Up next: Amber's involvement.

Some assume he took it off for Amber. I think he was putting it on for the brief periods of time he spent with Laci. If he got caught by Laci, the ring was handy and he said had to take it off because it would have got snagged on a work related item. Oldest one in the book.

Greta just said reports that days before her disappearance, witnesses saw a public fight between Scott and Laci, regarding his affair, where she threatened to leave him. Where she got this from, she has not said yet.

What is Greta talking about -- she said Laci and Scott had a public fight about Amber?

This article is total BS. Can anybody tell me ANY reason why these witnesses would not have come forward to CLEAR Scott Peterson in the very beginning.

What lawyer on EARTH would hide witnesses and let an INNOCENT man be arrested?

None!
