"Handmaid's Tale"
Ah, the Handmaid's Tale. Another piece of Canadian lit.
As bad as it was, the movie was pathetic. Robert Duvall
couldn't save that POS. Margaret Atwood, IIRC.

The New York Times's Paul Krugman got his dress so high over his head about all of it . . . LOL!

Every political junkie has a columnist that matches their attitude. I'd say Jonah is one of them in my case. I enjoy Coulter although sometimes she's a little hard-edge for me. George Will is good, but very academic. You can tell a lot about someone by who their favorite columnist is, I suppose.

No matter what they do with their crayons, children expect to be told "That's so good. Good for you." Any criticism elicits a tantrum about the unfairness of it all.Worth repeating...

Yeah I saw it too. It was a typical piece of leftist sludge revealing the most paranoid thoughts of the lunatic left. Their view: all conservatives are bible-thumping, women-hating troglodytes who can't wait to bring back the days of the Puritans and the Salem Witch Trials. Of course it wasn't reviewed as the vat of pig slop it was. The reviews I read depicted it as "trenchant commentary" and "a cogent warning" to us all about the DREADED RIGHTWING CONSPIRACY to take away your freedoms, make you drive a big car, etc.!!!! I mean really, how would you like to live next door to paranoid mental cases like Atwood?

Sheen and his defenders want to be simultaneously saluted for their "courage" to speak out while at the same time believe they there should be no risks for those who do speak out. Well, if there are no risks, where's the courage?Indeed.

Don't forget P.J. O'Rourke. I heard he was in Kuwait during the war.
