I had heard of the Women in Black as a white South African group who used to protest against the apartheid policies there. Whether this lot have anything to do with them I don't know.

"Our Mission Women In Black New York stand in silent vigil to protest war, rape as a tool of war, ethnic cleansing and human rights abuses all over the world. We are silent because mere words cannot express the tragedy that wars and hatred bring. We refuse to add to the cacophony of empty statements that are spoken with the best intentions yet may be erased or go unheard under the sound of a passing ambulance or a bomb exploding nearby."

I wonder if they would protest the US military coming to their rescue if their homes were attacked???? or would this be "adding to the cacophoney of empty statements,...."??? /gag.

These empty-headed women have no clue why they are free to prance around in black carrying silly signs and making silly statements. Its never occurred to these silly ninnies that wars were fought and blood spilled so they could enjoy the protection and freedom of their country to make a spectacle of themselves.

I detest so-called pacifists- all they want is someone else to do the dirty work so they can sit around act self-rightous. They are self-absorbed, disgusting individuals as are these silly nags. Freedom IS NOT Free.
