That caption on the Amber close-up picture was:

So,this was from that original news conference.

You mean the truck that got the new GPS system installed by MPD ;^), remember the picture of the peterson home in San Diago, you pointed out a truck in the driveway that looked just like Scotts truck, he has had so many vehicles in four months that I lost track, maybe if someone could post the LP number we might be able to talk someone into finding out where it is ;^).

Has any one heard if there are more girlfriends that have came forward, I have a feeling Amber is not the only one, this guy is really slipery.

Goodmorning Runningbear thanks for the ping. Sandylapper my son & husband booted me off the computer last night. I just got caught up reading the rest of yesterday's thread. Whoa, where did that poster ironguy come from anyway? I guess "us" cabal of women know our place, after his putdown. LOL

There is absolutely nothing that I have seen published in the paper that leads me to the conclusion that Scott Peterson killed his wife. The biggest "clue" about him being at the scene of the disposal is completely negated by the fact that another pregnant women washed up there. The odds of that happening coincidentally are astronomical, and literally the definition of reasonable doubt on that point.

The police may have the evidence but they have not tipped it to the press yet, and nothing that has come out to date is conclusive.

That is a close up from the Modesto POLICE conference so far as I can tell. I have a theory that "sweet" Amber would never have done that press conference if she weren't forced by the police to do it. I think she's turned state's witness and not entirely by her choice.

There's a rumor afoot supposedly from Hardball that Scott's public defender said that Scott didn't know Laci was pregnant. That is absurd, of course.

But what if the lawyer was trying to slip something to the press? Could Amber be the one Scott didn't know was pregnant? Papa Frey says today that Amber is in hiding "because of the press attention." Last week he said she was on a vacation. Could be the police salted her away for reasons having to do with pretrial press. But if its going to take 2 years for Scott to go to trial, they can't keep Amber hidden for that long.

My opinion is based a lot on what Michelle Hart claimed in the nudie pic NE article. Amber doesn't mind married men and Amber's not shy in confronting their pregnant wives according to that article. So did Amber tell Scott that if he didn't tell Laci the marriage was over, that Amber would do it.

We know Amber wanted to spend Christmas with Scott. Did she call on the 23rd to see if Scott had told his wife yet? Was Scott stalling because rather than tell Laci and be divorced, he had other plans for Laci? Did Amber's call hasten the implementation of Scott's other plans for Laci and poor little Connor?

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I think Amber is a skank and she is into this up to her eyeballs but she's the only real witness the DA has.

Well, he left and has so far not been back. Maybe it was DA telling him to sort of get lost, or my squaring off telling him to "get it straight". LOL I'm sure we "cabul of women" are just waiting, loaded for bear, if he comes back. LOL

I just wonder what could be the key to Amber's becoming such a brave "secret agent" for LE. LE must have done some "sweet talking" to negotiate that degree of cooperation from her. I suspect there was something LE knew from her history,with this case,to exchange for her cooperation.

I'm suspecting LE did have something on her related to this case and/OR there was something there that could have jeopardized her situation WRT to her little girl. Perhaps LE used that as leverage with her.

What those somethings might be...I haven't any concrete theories on thus far. But she has not been seen since January 24. That doesn't seem "normal" to me.
