Scott Peterson proclaims innocence to two counts of first-degree murder

I'll bet Scott never envisioned that his SON would ever appear as a separate dead body. It's so much easier if the baby stays hidden.

He's probably feeling like Alfie (from the movie of the same name) about now. In fact, he has probably thought and acted like Alfie for most of his life.

Sure he was going to flee.The hair, money, and ID. Did you hear his parents excuse for the ID? Only problem is the police have stated, there were no golf clubs in the car.

ROWLANDS: I don't know if was wearing a wedding ring or not. We have been able to substantiate he was carrying in excess of $10,000 with him and his brother's I.D. The family says there is a perfectly good explanation for that but won't go into the specifics surrounding it.

The I.D., they say he was going to play golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course and they require photo identification and he didn't want to give his own I.D. because he didn't want the folks at the pro shop to call the media. So he was using his brother's I.D. That's what the family says.

The other thing, of course, he had his hair blonds. It appears, though, as blonde. He says that it's from swimming, extensive swimming and not that it was intentionally dyed.

Science has made so many strides since NOW's heyday in the 70's. The idea of "quickening" is so old now.

Well, now, that's confusing. He was going to play golf--without golf clubs.

The problem with Jackie's eagerly explaining everything for Scott is, she doesn't take the time to first huddle with him so they can get their stories straight. For example, when she said, "Sure he had $10,000--it was b/c he'd just sold a car," she messed up a chance for Scott to claim the money wasn't his in the first place.

Speaking of Joe Peterson, I don't recall him as having blond hair and a beard. I recall him as having dark hair, and balding. But I'm sure someone will post the pics of Joe at the search center.

If in fact Joe Peterson helped Scott with a getaway plan, I suppose he could be charged too. It seems this has become a way of life for the Peterson family....always getting Scott out of trouble. I cannot help but wonder if he disposed of Laci's body alone.

Did you all get a load of Wacky Jackie after court yesterday saying that somebody else killed Laci and he's still out there? I want to smack her and tell her to snap out of it!!
And for her to continue to rant hysterical, denying the Rochas justice and further insulting their intellegence.

What I'm saying is neither one, Scott or Joe, would look like the ID with dyed hair and a beard. Airline ticket counter- "Gee you don't look like your ID". Scott says "Yeah, I know I dyed my hair and grew this thing on my face. My girlfriend thought it would be cool." Airline - "Next."

Whoever said on Greta that it didn't look like a wedding ring was included in the property was correct.

Oh, but marital status was marked "single" so that explains that...
