Looks like we have some new friends and supporters for our military. Hopefully the media has learned something from this war.

Embedding the reporters with the troops was one great idea.

I hope Richard Tomkins' journalism career can recover from publishing this article. The lefty's in the newsroom will be scheming on a way to ruin him, ala Jeff Jacoby.

Just e-mailed to Mr. Tomkins, the reporter:

Mr. Tompkins,

Just as it was an honor for you to "serve" with these great soldiers, it was an honor for me to read that piece. Please find a way to get it to every one of them because in my opinion, no higher words can be spoken on their behalf, and their families should always be able to think of them in this fine way. You did a remarkable job cutting through a million pieces on the war and writing the one that stood out for me.

By the way, your article just made it to my favorite site, and people will be posting their thoughts on your piece. That should be a keeper for YOU!.

Embedding the reporters with the troops was one great idea.

Victoria Clarke deserves a medal for her idea to do this! And this is precisely why the left didn't want this to happen, they knew that most journalists would have the same reaction.

I think one of the greatest thing to come out of all of this has been the 'unveiling' of our military to the American people, God bless em! Semper Fi
