Good idea ! Let's let them rape the women and sell the chidren into slavery too! Don't be an ass! Sun Tzu never said anything about raping women or selling children.

I was hoping one would wind up in Dubya's presidential library some day. It would be worth a trip from Los Angeles to Texas (probably Austin) to see that.I've been wondering where his library will end up. Given that LBJ's is in Austin and dad's is in, well that other place, I think Houston or Dallas will get this one. I hope it's not Midland!

Your quote was not about trophys - it was from a time when war was waged to take what someone else had - it was about the spoils of war, booty, loot, and yes... slaves and rape.
and that is the reason I took exception for using it in regard to our soldiers.

""Rewards are necessary in order to make the soldiers see the advantage of beating the enemy; thus, when you capture spoils from the enemy, they must be used as rewards, so that all your men may have a keen desire to fight, each on his own account." - Sun Tzu"
Just what I want the military of today to think - "Lets go kill those "soldiers" in that rich looking place, so I can find me a nice reward"
Do the words pillager, looter, mercenary, conquerer, plunderer have any meaning to you ?
They didn't have any meaning to Sun Tzu either.

Is there somewhere in the greater Crawford vicinity that would qualify as a good presidential library site? Isn't Crawford near Waco? How about there?

(Now to turn our attention to the reelection of a great President.)
