Has anyone ever told you it is never a good time to panic. How many American citizens die of the flu every year? How about world citizens, of the common cold?

Is the exchange of information about SARS the equivalent of panic? Is it somehow against some societal norm?

One of the things I remember about the Scientific American article was about pregnant women. Apparently the fetus of pregnant woman can get a virus from cats that will affect it's brain.
It said, "Well informed pregnant women will scamper at the sight of a cat."

I just wondered if most women already knew this?

Yes, I think so. Pregnancy and litter boxes are a big no-no. I have known people who have given their cats away because of pregnancy.

Hmmmm. I never knew that. It said not to even go out into the 'garden' if there is a cat about. (pregnant women)

There was another, Borna Virus, that humans can get (mostly) from horses that causes depression. (I think that's a fairly new finding.)

Please do not panic about the possibility of a panic. Stay calm. Contemplate the intricate melodies of rap music. All is well.

Doctors' offices routinely ask about that. Never ever ever change the litter box if you are pregnant.

Are you sure this isn't 1999, and we are waiting for the end of our society as we know it?
