Not when the "victim" is awarded MY FICA tax dollars in the form of SSI payments as compensation for a self-inflicted maladay.

The problem is cockroaches travel up walls , pipes etc..you could be Misses clean and still have them, if you live in public housing or a large rental . What I learned in my years in the inner city is ..if you "spray " one floor they all just relocate til it is safe to come back. I also learned not to scream every time I saw one and to NEVER put my purse on the floor *grin* (one time one crawled out of a clients wallet in my view..you learn to be VERY cautious !)

In some parts of the country they have the exterminator once a month and keep all their food in tupperwear, because of the humidity and climate. Dirt is not a factor (although leaving the cereal open may be)

I know employed slobs and super clean welfare folks..
