"Of course but I was speaking from a prosection point of view as far as "making a case"
Scott will have an opportunity to make his"
---
And the case that he is going to make is that she was kidnapped and killed and then later dug up and dumped where he already said he was so as to keep pointing the finger of blame at him. He's gonna claim he was framed. Just you watch.

Now why would you want to know that? DNA says its her. You trying to make the case that she walked there and tied herself up and fell in?
I don't debate children and I don't suffer fools.
These are facts relavant to the case. Anyone who doesn't ask these questions is either too stupid or too emotional to be making judgement calls about anything of substance.

Thanks, pack -- I'm TV deprived.
Can anyone confirm that Conner has been verified to be Scott's?

Scott will have an opportunity to make his.
IMO, expect a confession.
Because if is innocent, the only thing to save him now would be a horribly & unquestionably skewed, estimated time of death.
He's f'ed.

He's gonna claim he was framed. Just you watch. I guess that's the obvious defense. Just like that Mitchell guy says "Elizabeth ran away."

The bit about Eliabeth may be true. (Which does not excuse him). A Salt Lake paper reported that she met 6 times with him, sneaking down town with friends to visit him and his wife. This was verified by the friend.

Because it isn't about "revenge," it's about punishment.
I find it amazing that so many people here sneeringly accuse the Muslim world of "brutality," and then in the next breath wish that we were the same way.

I think you imagine things.
The most heinous murderers appear to be the most glib and unassuming.

Welcome to the conservative version of Jerry Springer.
Where you get yelled at for asking how far away the body of water is from the Peterson home.
Sheesh, I hope many of these people never see the inside of a jury box.

The most heinous murderers appear to be the most glib and unassuming. The most profoundly evil person I ever knew was just like Mister Magoo, but shorter and a little chubbier.

I'm not saying its true, as I only saw one newspaper report that and it wasn't the main Salt Lake newspaper. Since I don't live there, it could be a check-out-stand gossip rag for all I know.
It would explain her failure to run away much more convincingly than the "Stockholm Syndrom" which I personally have a hard time believing - but then I'm not a girl of 14.

And I believe in vengence, as a matter of mental hygiene, but I see your point about the contrast in rhetoric.

20/20 just reported that police found a receipt for ankle weights but Scott could never produce them to police. (this is new news to me)

You only got "yelled at" because it has been all over the news for the last 4 days that she washed up on the shores of the VERY SAME BAY less than 4 miles from where he said he was fishing.
He placed himself in that Bay in his statement to police..
He said he drove there towing his boat.
Body washes up in that bay.
Body shows signs of being bound and wrapped.
What would it matter if it was 5000 miles?
What would it matter if it were 500 yards?
Since he placed himself there, and body was found
there Distance does not matter.
He still could be not guilty because it was widely
known that he said he was there, and that could supply
some other person with an idea on how to get rid of the
body.
Distance STILL wouldn't matter in this sceanario.
And I didn't yell at you - which is more than you can say about your snippy reply to me.

That Cali DA is annoying and so full of himself - it took him about 6 minutes to say what should have been tastefully said in about 60 seconds. He then should have deferred to local officers for their comments and any questions. He is hogging the attention - I hate this type of person, I really do!
I didn't find too much trouble with the DA but the cop that did the press conference in Modesto should be strung up by his thumbs. His "presentation" was so damned selfserving, mentioning just about every bureaucrat in the state. Doesn't this SOB recognize that this is what we are paying these idiots to do.
It happens in almost every damned police press conference, like those of Chief Moose during the "Beltway Sniper" situation. We are paying these guys damned big money. Finally, they do their jobs and they just want to get "face time" on camera. They make me seriously sick.

Incorrect, the distance involved is highly relevant.
If she were dumped in a body of water "500 yards" (your example) from the Petersons home, where she went missing and where Scott Peterson happened to fish it would not be nearly the statistical improbability of her being found under the same circumstances 90 miles away, where Scott Peterson happened to fish.
In short, the sheer distance is damning to Scott Peterson. It's very convincing circumstantial evidence. But the reverse is not true.
If you can't see the importance of this, then I frankly don't know what else to say to you.

"SCOTT PETERSON ARRESTED!"
Let's hope this trial isn't televised like the O.J. trial.

I need to find audio tapes of Scott Peterson talking about anything related to the case. Does anyone have a link or know a website I could try? Thanks for any help.
