OK, they never made it clear that they were doing so.
Guess what? The ACLJ spends a largish chunk of its budget on political lobbying.

The name of the organization is the "American Center for Law and Justice." They are filing suit on behalf of some unnamed Christian organization. They're the lawyers, not the client.
