Like Hillary in 2000, Rice has never held elected office. She needs a smaller stage than president for a trial run.

Nothing against Cheney. It's his choice. I know he's planning to stay there, but I also know that he's had some very serious health issues. If it were me, I would not want such a job with such a health condition. So it's not like he's not doing an excellent job, but (a) it just *seems* like it may be a good idea for him to change his mind and (b) a Bush/Bush ticket would be pretty awesome, both for the power of the ticket against the Democrat hordes (you can't underestimate the stupidity of many people in this country, the race could be close) and for the chance to give Jeb some "incumbent" weight in 2008.

I really have a fear that Hitlery will run on a platform of "I would have had the war benefits without the war" combined with "Clintons preside over dot com booms, Bushes preside over depressions" and we will need all the strength we can muster to keep the !@#$% out of office.

This is almost exactly what she is going to do. You have to hand it to her, Hillary is a brilliant evil genius. Bush's popularity is based on his foreign policy. She would run on: I am in agreement with the President's foreign policy. I would have done everything the same (except I would have somehow prevented the looting). Then she is going to go with: "It's still the economy stupid."

Do you think Condi would also get more votes for being an independant woman since at the moment she doesn't have any romantic ties? Hillary is still married to x42, so she hasn't done the whole "I've divorced Bill for my independance and freedom."

And if Condi does get elected to President somewhere along the way and she isn't married or closely linked to someone, then who takes on the role of "First Lady?" I think that I remember that one of our past presidents who wasn't married had his cousin fill the position. But would Condi get a guy to do the job, or a gal? The "First Lady's" role is very important when it comes to planning events and other stuff, and I don't think that Condi would have time to do all of that when she's busy leading the country. Just some things I've been thinking about.

If Condi did get married, it would probably be to some poor NFL coach, whose team's won/loss percentage would be under the microscope every season thereafter.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Hillary, is not just planning to run, she is working no doubt on every possible corrupt scenario that would facilitate her running and winning.

No telling what Hillary and friends have come up with in their early 'war room' operations.

No pretty thoughts for her. . .

Well ... support groups sometimes get ahead of themselves, and have stuff printed up - but that doesn't necessarily PROVE she's running.

I think she's waiting to see how the wind is blowing - and if the dems get to the convention without a clear frontrunner, I believe she's planning to get drafted - "to bring the party together". Besides, this way she saves all the hassle and money of campaigning before the convention. Just my guess ... I don't trust her for a moment!!

I would almost be willing to accept Hitlery for four years if arkancide would befall X42 and shut him up. I said "almost".

Sorry, forgot to add:

And if Al Sharptom does not want to run, we should get Charley Rangel (Rep. D-NY) to draft him!
