I'm also ex-Waco PD, and worked 3-11 for the city, then 11-7 for Baylor (in a city PD uniform, Baylor car).

Perhaps, Assad wants to help his fellow Red bastard friend and provoke a wider conflict, or evn try to get some extra land. On the secrecy part, the war has mainly been to the East, South and North of B'Dad. The Americans, more than likely don't see the point of worrying about the Syrians because, rightly they are next in the firing line, that'll please the anti-war brigades!!!

A group of about 6 Iraqi soldiers just walked by the camera, carrying guns. Now showing a big fire (black smoke) coming out of a building.

Don't know what happened, because camera went to credits screen when "whatever it was" happened.

Brooks faces that side street that runs parallel to 35. My hall was the last one before the girl's dorm. It's been since 96 since I've been down on campus, so my memory isn't that great. The main thing I do miss are the NOZE brothers and the Rope. That was the funniest damned thing down there.

I'm serious, I watched Lehrer News Hour ( just to see un logo-ized iraq footage) earlier and it was briefly mentioned, with one or two brief clips, over Jim Lehrer's drab pravdaesque narration, that's it. And another brief mention on a local Phx station. Good pics here though :-)

I miss the Denny's and McDs waitresses, though -- they used to come meet us at the marina about 2:00 am...
