I've been thinking about Fox news. I think the reason it gets so little respect from the establishment media is that in those circles, there is a perceived "right" way to deliver the news.......... dry, objectively, uninvolved and Fox news is none of those things on the whole, which is why they get ridiculed.

The truth of the matter is that there is no "right" way to deliver the news. Only that it is true and gets out to the people who want it, and Fox does that in spades.

Yes they are cheerleaders and the establishment hates them for it but so what? There is no exclusive on the truth, no formula the framers had in mind, only that the press was free, free enough to deseminate the truth.

I know that liberals say that Fox is conservative and a shill for the Bush administration but I do believe that we are getting fair and balanced for the first time in our lives. Another BIG reason Fox is popular is that the hosts act like real people.

Did i say he was a traitor? im im just saying that if he didnt do the dumb sand drawings, his presence in baghdad would boost ratings because of the way he treats the military (except when he prefers to be called 'private').

Sorry. The written word sure doesn't convey the intent given in spoken communication. My goodness, I didn't mean to imply that YOU said he was a traiter. I was merely reacting (ranting?) to what some other people have said on other threads. You seemed like you'd have a sympathetic ear and let this old woman ramble. LOL

One thing's for sure ... all of us are going to be watching him VERY closely to see if he's learned his lesson and is for real in his about-stance. As much as I HATE!/DETEST!/ABSOLUTELY ABHOR! Jane Fonda, I even gave her the chance to prove she'd really accepted Christ. As I suspected, her fruits don't bear her out.

I'm pulling for Geraldo though. I think most of his problems are based on deep-seated feelings of inferiority/insecurity that he ministers to with promiscuity and always having to be in the limelight. I pray that he has grown up and overcome all of that nonsense.

We'll see!

In the meantime, you are so right. He'd better stay out of the sand. :0)

How on Earth did Aaron Brown get in there? I prefer him to Greta Van face, perhaps others do too!

Who ever heard of a top 15? They must have made it that way to include at least one CNN show. Make it a top 10 and its a clean sweep for FNC.

Where is the Queen of FoxNews? I don't see her up there and I know she just had the highest rated cable news show in history just a few days ago. Anyway, you should have seen her tonight. She eviscerated the hapless, bumbling, stuttering ambassador from Syria.

Joe Scarborough on MSNBC are better than both of them. At least Greta exhibits some intelligence; Brown is an idiot.

They ALWAYS run a top 15, ALWAYS. As I said in the first post, the top 15 usually contains no news programming at all.
