There is loooting and theft and anarchy in the streets of Baghdad right now, and we're supposed to treat this as a good thing?

It's surely better than rape rooms, starvation in the face of billion-dollar palaces, military spending taking precedence over medical spending, torture in front of families (for mere accusations), invasions of peaceful neighbors, chemical weapons attacks on civilians (and on enemy soldiers, but that's slightly less shocking than use against women, children, and the elderly).

Or would you prefer the Iraqis to continue to live under that brutality, only to look forward to even worse conditions for 30+ years under Saddam's particularly sadistic son? Knowing the lunacy of Lefties like you, I would guess that you would say no, but you would do nothing but talk (like peaceniks the UN) waiting for Saddam to grow a conscience and suddenly surrender under the weight of your whining like a good little Frenchman. GWB simply saved millions of lives, and did it with as little destruction as the world has seen in warfare, ever. (Fewer people were lost die to our weapons than were killed in the Falkland Islands conflict, fer cryin' out loud.)
