It is not so much of toppling of Saddam's statue as jubilant Iraqis which sent these Demos into deep depression along with Euro-liberals. No one can hide that this war has the solid support among many Iraqis.
This event is at par with jubilant Afghanis in Kabul shaving their beards and digging out their long-hidden TV sets. Both events killed waves of liberal tirades for good.
Now some liberal medias are trying to highlight chaos and looting aspect of some Iraqis. I have the impression that they try to paint jubilant Iraqis as no good criminals. The implications is that no upstanding Iraqis will welcome American troops. Does that mean that Saddam Fedayeens are upstanding Iraqis, the ones who use kids as human shields ?:)

I talked to one today. She couldn't watch it... I think it made her sick.
I am all like, 'this is a great day...' Then she gave me a dirty look.

At the grocery store I heard a liberal say outloud in grief, "I can't stand to watch the news anymore!"
The victory in Iraq is more than liberals can bear. Denial is a difficult thing.

THEY'RE "SADDENED, DEEPLY SADDENED, THAT OUR PRESIDENT HAS FAILED SO MISERBLY TO GET US INVOLVED IN A "QUAGMIRE" THAT WOULD RESULT IN THOUSANDS OF OUR SERVICEMEN GETTING KILLED" I can only try to imagine how miserable they must feel today. They are SOOOOOO out of touch with reality & yet they expound on their virtues & qualifications to lead our country??!! It is truely bizarre/ironic/MORONIC

Preview of coming attractions: Martin Sheen will sacrifice a full night of sleep while restlessly pondering a regime change requiring military force, in California. However, Mike Farrell will make a guest star appearance and talk him out of it so Boxer, Feinstein, and GrayDavis are safe for a little while.

I used to think that most Dems, even the leadership, were well-intentioned if terribly misguided people. The events of this war have opened my eyes...they're just plain anti-American and EVIL!

Maybe they are quiet because they have resigned themselves to eating some much earned crow. On second thought, the PETA folks would go nuts over that, so maybe we should find some ToFu Crow for them. In the name of good sportmanship and all

Andy Rooney on Imus in the Morning (today), said something along the lines:
"I don't agree withj George Bush, I didn't vote for him, and as you know, I've been against this war all along. In light of all this (the Iraqi celebrations, etc) its a good thing he's President and I'm not, because in this case - it appears that he's done the right thing..."

Did you hear Chris Matthews last night? I cant remember the exact words but as close as I can remember is,
"Damn the Democrats why cant they give the President credit today. He Won.
He later said to Howard Fineman, "We are all neocon's today."

I've seen a number of "DWI"s (Democrat While Ignorant) and "DUI"s (Democrat Under Ignorance) as well as some suffering from "DDI" (Democrat Due to Ignorance) taking a turn for the better over the last few days. Remember a lot of people still don't have cable, or recently got cable, so I think there are a lot of changes of heart down the road for these types.
I've seen atheist liberals that now fluctuate between agnostic and believing, I've seen them also turn conservative in the last two years. Keep the faith and keep up your part in spreading all the real news! Yes, some will never change..but some will.

I am saddened, saddened I tell you that these anti-Bush and anti-Americans are having to eat crow. Truth be told, the Socialist Democratic Party was sooooo close to getting their wish that American would become a Third World nation under Clinton, they cant believe that Freedom and Liberty really are more than words and they cant believe that President Bush is more than just a man from Texas; they cant believe he is a
real leader in the eyes of the world or that the United Nations cant hog tie him with their NWO and other thuggish tactics.
We as the liberators are on our way, but our troops still have an up-hill battle in front of them. Pray for them, and for our President and the remarkable group of people who have so brilliantly orchestrated the liberation of Iraq.
