I have only heard of this report by FR. In a poll, only 10% could imagine to boycott US goods, and I can hardly believe that more than 5% will boycott English words. This is BS and I don´t pay attention to that anymore. What makes me concerning is, that a bus of a McD-restaurant in Germany was set on fire today. These radical leftists don´t know that they´re damaging a German (mostly franchised), and not McD. People can get so sick when their emotions are not controlled by reason.

During a play in a local theatre, a young American boy sang the national anthem (US). Of course, nobody stood up - it was a play - but after he did that great (according to friends who have been there) people applauded, and: some guys shouted "boooh"! I can´t get this. Why can´t they differentiate between the US government, which they dislike, and the US people, who they should pay respect - and if only represented by the anthem.

"We won't accept the United States as a role model as long as it is violating international law so this seemed to be an appropriate way to protest peacefully," Armin Burkhardt, a professor of German at Magdeburg University, told Reuters.

Funny stuff coming from the biggest violators of international law during the 20th century!!

do you also pay a sales tax on a car purchase? In Missouri we have 6.075% sales taxes, no registration fee, just a licence renewal fee of about 25$ a year.

I think so, but I'd have to look it up to be sure. I remember having to pay $3k above the sticker for various fees and registration, and I THINK state tax was part of it, but I'd have to look it up.

Anyone from California know?
