"Someday Luis you will walk in a FREE CUBA......just hold on a little longer my friend!"
Thank you both for your posts, but if you don't mind, right now, I just want to sing:
If tomorrow all the things were gone,
Id worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
Id thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they cant take that away.
And Im proud to be an American,
where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That Im proud to be an American,
where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And Im proud to be and American,
where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

FOREVER DUMB
(parody of "Forever Young")
May God bless and keep my lawyers,
May my bitch not piss-off Jews,
May y'all do it to each other,
And let the government do it to you.
May ol' Bill still matter to the stars
And rise above his scum,
And may you stay, forever dumb,
Forever dumb, forever dumb,
May you stay, forever dumb.
May ya cooperate with leeches,
May you grow up to be fools,
May the knowledge of my half-truths,
Just block the light around you too.
May yall ignore outrages,
And let my guys take all your guns,
And may you stay, forever dumb,
Forever dumb, forever dumb,
May you stay, forever dumb.
Forever dumb, forever dumb,
May you stay, forever dumb.
May old "Handsome" always be sleazy,
May the meek always vote left,
May I mask equivocations,
When the winds of change may shift.
May my herd always be loyal,
May my throngs always be numb,
And may you stay, forever dumb,
Forever dumb, forever dumb,
May you stay, forever dumb.
thanks!

Heart Warming pics.....I saw one this morning of a very pretty little Iraqi girl of around 4 or 5 holding some chewing gum and smiling and waving at the troops....almost got all misty eyed.
If this ain't victory (at least in Baghdad), I don't know what is.

Sure do love the "failed" war plan Rummy, Myers, Pace and Franks put together. I also love the "pause" in the "failed war plan" that freed most of Iraq in 21 days. I love the egg on the retired Clinton-era generals and officers who didn't like what Rummy has been trying to do to turn the Pentagon into a 21st Century lean, mean fighting machine.

That's Elian, isn't it. The despicable Clinton sent him back, something our Dubya would NEVER do.
