Hold the applause. I've dealt with these Communists since the 60's and while we are jubilant today the attacks have already started.
Talking points include 1. The 1000 dead in the Congo last Thursday. Why are machetes not included in WMD? Are some people's color better than others.
Need to remind them that the UN peacekeepers are supposed to be keeping the "peace" there and that Belgium and France(!) left the area a disaster after their colonialism.
2. We won the war because there was no doubt but we are the big bullys who went after an Iraqi military that was equipped like Lichtenstein.
3. Where are the WMD?
4. We are establishing dissidents in the new Iraqi govt that are pawns of the US.
and some others that are less than noteworthy but equally annoying.
You cannot let up for a second because if you do, the cockroaches in the Communist (socialist, Marxist etc) left come out of the woodwork.
PS I found out today that the left likes being called Marxists. Apparently they do not believe it has the same connotation as the old USSR.

My email to ANSWER:
What are the protesters going to do now? Will they attempt to replace the statues of Saddam which the newly freed people of Iraq have destroyed? Will they round up the children who were freed from prison and put them back behind bars? Will they attempt to wipe the smiles of glee from the faces of people who have waited years to be free?
Guess the big anti-war rally in DC kind of lost its momentum with this morning's events in Baghdad, huh?
Face it. SOMETIMES WAR IS THE ANSWER!!

These guys will undoubtedly rally anyway and turn it into a anti-capitalist message. And they deserve a series freep.

We've won a battle but not the war with these die-hard anti-American Leftists. We need to use this "rally" to highlight their hypocrisy and true agenda--and we can do so by contrasting the spontaneous demonstrations of joy in Bagdad with ANSWER's centrally-planned demonstration of hate and lies.
Let's not rest on our laurels. We need to use this tactical victory to score a strategic victory--now is not the time to let up on the Leftists. I encourage all Freepers to use the Iraq situation to DENOUNCE these commies every chance we get--in the news, in legislatures, at PTA meetings, at work, at the dinner table, across the backyard fence.
The America-haters are RELENTLESS. We need to be just as determined.

My answer, an Iraqi-American counter-protest. Maybe a tussle can break out...
