No bets.
More than a whole graveyard full.
Probably anyone caught or rumored to have kept the old flag were drug off and shot.

I am so sick of this crap being spouted. The IRAQIS don't see our flag as a symbol of being conquered. If they did, they wouldn't be WAVING IT themselves. Doubt you're suggesting that I'm spouting crap but you must remember we're concerned about how the world views us, not simply the Iraqis who are waving our flag. The military has now barred any display of the American flag on vehicles, buildings, statues and command posts. link

Why is that soldier displaying the flag as a signal of distress?

My invitation to the little boys following the statue's head, "Piss in it!"

"Doubt you're suggesting that I'm spouting crap"
no, i'm referring to the media.
The "world" already hates us; not having our flag anywhere isn't going to make them hate us less.
I can see not raising our flag over their buildings, etc. but it is absolutely RIDICULOUS to say we can't have it on our own vehicles and living quarters.
The only opinion that matters right now is the Iraqi's. They aren't bitching about our flag. That makes it no one else's business.
