"Only in Seattle (or Olympia, where I live)."

Well, the sun came out today, so I suppose they wanted to take advantage of the weather. Now I know what unemployed Seattle-ites do when the rain stops!

I could never be a hippy. I like to take baths and soap too much.

Morbidly, I am quite looking forward to Robert Fisk's alice-in-wonderland column today from the Independent. I wonder how he will spin today's events?

he war is not over....Tikrit.....Mosul....Kirkuk...need to be liberated.
And the war goes on..

Ayup. Our troops are working as we speak. Haven't heard how many sorties, but I'd guess in the 800-1,200 range, with at least 400 of them being bombing runs against the RG.

FNC showing celebrating Iraqis in Detroit. Many getting ready to go back to Iraq.

Can we "liberate" Mexico now?

Fox coverage between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM is great!
Shep's late 2 hour segment of the war coverage is THE BEST.

I remember people in my office saying (during the Clinton / Monica Lewinski trist) "I elected a president, not a husband" and said they didn't care about what he did in his private time. I think this whole thing shows that morality does matter and you have to have someone in charge that you can trust, because we (joe citizen) aren't going to have all the information to make a decision.

Clinton taught our young people that oral sex was ok.
Bush is teaching our young people to stand up to your convictions - despite what others think. I couldn't be more proud!

Here's another good one:

Spin THAT, CNN!

Really? Why?

I really don't like cigarette smoking, because it gives me gross breath and makes me kind of light-headed. I have heard that cigars are different.

A reporter on FNC yesterday said, "we can't see a flower for miles yet the Iraqi people present them to the soldiers. Where do they get them?"

"He had a couch cushion I think and the kid was running into it and bouncing off over and over again while saying "Fair and Balanced.""

That's right, I remember that now :).

I especially enjoyed seeing Brit having a happy family moment like that as I was so pained for him when his son Sandy died. He was so proud when Sandy would appear on the show early in its run...what a tragedy that was.
