Howlin, I don't believe the reporters are FINNALY understanding what we have known all along...I think they now have NO CHOICE but to report that the Iraqi people are treating our troops as liberators...You KNOW this is just killing them...it makes Bush look good, after all, and that is the LAST thing they want to do....so as soon as the dust clears, I predict, they will go immediately into the COST of this war mode, followed by one year (as the elections are looming) of "worst ecomony in 50 years" crap....and for good measure, they will sprinkle in the "damage" we have inflicted upon the United Nations.

Isn't it odd that after all this time, the sure sign of our greatest success and freedom for the Iraqis is coming at the very place we've been staring at for 3 weeks. I'm gonna miss that palm tree and minaret.
CNN still live at a battle: 1st Batillion, 7th Marines, in Baghdad, at a bridge. They are in the city. One of those pockets of resistance. Pray for our troops, folks. This is still a hairy place.

The Arab/Muslim world can no longer deny reality. The biggest army of the Muslim world was smashed by the US in three weeks of fighting that caused US forces minimal casualties. The US military is now located where they can dominate the whole Middle East region.
