The Weasels and the U.N. are working hard to split Britain off and use the Blair-Bush relationship against Bush so they can again gain some control or at least grab some oil.

I continue to believe that a lot of the reason they want in the "New Iraq" is so that they can get get their hands on as much of the evidence of their crimes in the Old Iraq as possible before WE do.

Perhaps he finally realizes the UN pretty much sucks at everything except giving out humanitarian aid and administering post war Iraq is more than the UN can chew.

It seems like everyone's spouting this notion that the UN is good at handing out humanitarian aid. I seem to recall that not too long ago, lots of UN "humanitarian" workers in Africa were busted for trading aid for sexual favors from the people they were supposed to be helping. I also seem to recall another report that claimed that the majority of new AIDS cases in Africa were caused not by sexual contact, but by exposure to contaminated needles and other medical equipment in the public health clinics, many of which are managed (mismanaged?) by the corrupt African governments with help from the UN. Of course, these stories were very quickly spiked by the media.

I'm not trying to pick on you, but this is a bone that I've wanted to gnaw on for some time now, and your post gave me an opening. If nothing else, maybe it's reason to reconsider even allowing the UN to hand out food and water packets to the Iraqis.

I wouldn't doubt that Negroponti had instructions to tell Kofi,

"unless you want to move this whole bunch of overstuffed slobs to Nigeria or Mogadishu, you probably don't want to go around stirring up trouble for George in post-war Iraq. We will take care of business - your not invited, nor are your axis-of-weasel friends".

Damn but I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting.

I caught the last of Rush today, and he was awesome. (Heavy paraphrasing) We (United States) don't owe anyone anything. We aren't going to bend over and take a terrorist attack ever again. What we are doing is not only removing a source of terrorism in Iraq, we are sending a message to the rest of the world's terrorists. Don't mess we with us because we aren't going to play games anymore. They can never win against our military. Those cowards can blow themselves up using innocent civilians, they can hide behind women and children, but they are no match for the US military.

Rush stated it perfectly.

Poor Koffi.. once King of the World.

But really, this was the first wise move I've seen him make in a long time. How irrelevant can one become? If he had gone to meet with "The Trio of d'Feat" he would have become even less relevant (if that was possible).

NAH! He's realizing that the American people want the UN out of the US and the US out of the UN! If we succeed, the UN will lose major bucks! We not only pay 25% of the dues, but billions in peace keeping expenses, food aid, medical aid etc. Kofi's afraid of losing his meal ticket.

Please all, phone, fax, email and write your homeboys and the White House and demand US withdrawal from this corrupt, inept, Anti-American organization. There are better uses for our hard earned tax dollars.
