From what I know all the cams are currently sound-censored and pointed away from any action, for any reporters that MAY be reading this post beware that the Palestine is a legitamate military target, so get those kids out now.

Hmm - some media organization somewhere must have tapes. I expect we won't see them though.

Look who they spend their day's with. The propaganda machines.

Sort of puts the lie to the "Because I didn't hear any outgoing, there wasn't any" line of Bravo Sierra.
I need some sleep, so good night all.

Thinking the same thing. I heard several bursts of small arms fire in the hour before the tank hit that were very close to the camera. Those bursts were not from the west side the river, I am sure of that. The journalists need to realize Baghdad is a war zone and the risk to them must be born by them not coalition forces.
BTW: I think the 1st MEF is going to make its big push into the east side tonight. I bet we try to secure the Palestine as well tonight.

Why didn't they get all bent out of shape when the 3 journalists were ARRESTED and IMPRISONED by the Iraqi's last week?
If the US isnt' responsible for it, then it isn't high level news.
Bottom feeders.

Are they censoring for our poor souls, or from the truth. Funny how you can have all of us here know that there was shooting from the hotel but all of the media today didn't hear or see anything. Who's on who's side?
To: sf4dubya
Joe Scarborough just quoted the "we shoot them down for the morons they are!" on MSNBC!!

About 5 minutes agao I saw a shot of the upper floor of the Palestine Hotel on CNN, it showed a child at the window, a human shield?

I wonder if a $$$$$ rewards have been offered for information on Saddam and his followers.
I think it's time to start offering a $$$$$$$ rewards that lead to the capture of Saddam and his leaders (living or dead) to the Iraqi people and advertise it as a local, national, and world-wide proclamation.
I bet it wouldn't take long to get him then....

I think Christiane must have had something going on the side with the Al Jazeera reporter in order to be *this* outraged.

Los Angeles Times, Calendar Section | 4/8/2002 | ANITA BUSCHE
Posted on 04/08/2003 5:12 PM EDT by ALOHA RONNIE
NEVER FORGET ...and Thank GOD we NEVER did.
...Los Angeles Times Reporter ANITA BUSCH is reporting in today's Los Angeles Times Calendar Section that...
.."WE WERE SOLDIERS".. Vietnam Actor DON DUONG (Pronounced "Dong") will be arriving in San Jose, California tomorrow with his family as a Free Man.
...After months of negotiations U.S. Government and Communist Vietnam Officials reached an agreement for DON DUONG to leave his native country and to live in the United States, permanently.
...Last September DON DUONG was proclaimed a Traitor to the Government and Peoples Army of Vietnam... for appearing as the North Vietnamese Army Commander who lost to MEL GIBSON in .."WE WERE SOLDIERS".. after which long interrogations ensued to try and pressure him into signing a confession for his "Crimes." A Confession that DUONG never signed with punishment always just around the corner.
...The BUSH White House, .."WE WERE SOLDIERS".. Personnel and others have all been working hard on DON DUONG's behalf ...each in our own ways. Reporter ANITA BUSCH has been a Jewel thru all of this.
GOD IS GOOD.

They know the truth but in discussing it in chat and dialogue validates their employment. The station that discusses the most is drawing viewers, viewers watch ads, makes money, the world revolves.
