It wasn't much to see. A bird could have flown into that wall and knocked the plaster off there, wind could if it was loose.

Single A-10 incident. First report was from on the ground, second report was confirmation of the event from CentCom

BBC TV just implied that U.S. took out Aljezeera, AbuDaubi, and Reuters on purpose. If we did, GOOD.
If we didn't tough noogies. You wanted to play war correspondent, you got your wish. Stupid journalists.

It's horrible what happened to these people, they didn't deserve this. But they also shouldn't be contributing anything at the moment unless it is a proven fact and it's too early for anything to be a fact.

"MSNBC: the hit on the roof cam was because the dude was standing next to an Iraqi gunner. Was that the dumbest Arab in the world or what?"
Aren't our embeds doing the same thing?

That's his accusation. Saying that there will have to be an investigation into this, that he never heard a shot, saw a tank cannon point up at the hotel before the explosion. He did NOT say that he saw the tank shoot.

I just feel like all this crappolla is going to start the mother of all battles, like we're going to be fighting the whole of the Middle East before this is over!! I do suspect a set-up with all these reporter incidents today.

He claims he saw a tank on a bridge move it's turret in the direction of the hotel. He didn't see it shoot.

Oh Great .. now this jack*** is claiming that the US is targeting Western Jouralist
GET HIM OFF THE AIR NOW!!!

Yeah, they're doing the same thing, but it's about the survivability probability. You're alot less likely to stay alive if you're with the Iraqi forces than if you're with our forces.

Simon What's-his-name on Fox just admitted he's a sane, rational human being that left Baghdad precisely so he wouldn't become a piece of grinder meat like those Palestine Hotel America-bashers journalists.
To: SirAllen
Very strange there is a response from the US within 5 minutes, let alone giving instructions that any good sniper could also follow. <
I agree- that sounds bogus since CENTCOM doesn't get anything out that quick, and in a HOTEL everyone has white sheets.
They got David the Limey SOB on now saying he "didn't hear sniping." Now he is claiming the US is targetting western journalists.
Newsflash, boy : we warned everyone to get out long ago; you wouldn't know a tank round from a sniper shot from a bomb; and if you're still there you are there because the Iraqis love you; and if we wanted to target journalists a JDAM would be a much easier way to do it.

Not knowing much about this, this may be a stupid question. That reporter who was on camera when it happened was totally surprised, ducked and looked all around. If that tank had fired wouldn't the shot have been heard long before the building pieces started coming down?
To: blondee123
I hope the military analysts on Fox tear Chater a new one
