Like I said, you're a whiner. This POW spent several days with gunshot wound and broken bones from torture and you're upset that she's in the news. You're a jerk.

You guys are pathetic. Scott O'Grady got all sorts of attention when he was rescued, too. Did you bellyache as much then?

For heaven's sake, we've had enough BAD news since 9/11, can't you rejoice in a little good news?

I have some advice for you. You say you're going to gag if you read more stories about Jessica. Try this:...When you see a thread with her name in it, don't click on it! lol

#3, you're repeating yourself.
Joe, #3, cut it out.
You're making children look bad.
Mombonn, I did bellyache about Scott O'Grady.
He didn't belong there to be shot down in the first place.
That was Clinton's goof up.
All three: Jess didn't do anything that warrants the Medal of Honor.
Bronze Star maybe.

And yes, I can make a comment here, I was a soldier myself.

Darksheare, you're under the impression that someone left Dodge and made you boss. I don't know what she warrants or doesn't warrant, I just think she's a hero for for being there and trying to fight them off, and for being in good spirits now. If private industry wants to give her this or that, I'm not going to complain.

And yes, I can make a comment here, I was a soldier myself.

And so was Scott Ritter and Oliver Stone.

Scott Ritter has no claim to it.
Oliver Stone's service record stunk.
Got any better examples?

And yes, you are acting childish.
Get over yourself, your hand won't talk back.
Private industry does not award the Medal of Honor.
That is a military honor bestowed due to extreme meritorious conduct above and beyond the call of duty.
Look up the accomplishments of those who already have one.

Combat is no place for women, sorry bud.
Especially when it comes to the Baathist regime, since they have a predilection for gang rape.

Besides, who made you judge and jury yourself?
Who left Dodge and made you sherrif yourself?
Answer that yourself, pal.

What's your story? Supply clerk like Radar O'Reilly or something better?

And yes, you are acting childish.

Sometimes you have to go to the level of the opposition to make a point.

Get over yourself, your hand won't talk back.

I'm not the one giving orders to everyone. Sorry, you're not boss here.

Private industry does not award the Medal of Honor.

You're the one that brought up the Medal of Honor. I just said she's a hero.

That is a military honor bestowed due to extreme meritorious conduct above and beyond the call of duty. Look up the accomplishments of those who already have one.

It doesn't matter to me whether she gets one or not. Whether she gets a Medal of Honor, Bronze Star, or just a Purple Heart from the military, it doesn't matter to me. My purpose in supporting her here is to show that some of us here greatly appreciate her sacrifice and are not going to snipe at her about political agendas that she has no control over. I think that's childish.

Combat is no place for women, sorry bud.

She was in a maintenance unit. If a female wants to join a maintenance unit, that's fine with me. Self responsiblility is something that I believe in. Her company was more a victim of a terrorist act than combat. The same thing happens to Israelis every week.

Especially when it comes to the Baathist regime, since they have a predilection for gang rape.

Since you don't know that happened, you shouldn't say it happened. She has enough to recover from already without having to deal with false rumors. I consider someone who spreads false rumors as being immature.

Besides, who made you judge and jury yourself?

I don't know, the same person who made you boss?

Who left Dodge and made you sherrif yourself? Answer that yourself, pal.

You're the one that had a list of grievances and orders for everyone involved in the conversation, it shows that you consider yourself better than most everyone you meet. I pick my opponents more carefully, in a more humble manner. I consider people who aren't humble as being shortsighted, like a teenager.

First off, I mentioned that you guys sounded like children.
Boo hoo, you didn't like being told that.
Well go cry in your whiskey #3.
My story?
ARtillery, pal. 13B MOS.
What's yours, you insulting little squeek?
You ever wear a uniforM?
Or did you run screaming 'concientious objector!'?
No, you don't go to the level of the opposition.
That's what the UN does.
You didn't give orders to anyone?
Funny, I could've sworn you were being an insulting jack@$$.
I said and I quote,"All three: Jess didn't do anything that warrants the Medal of Honor."
That says all WHAT?
ALL THREE.
That means you and who else?
I guess your comprehension isn't all that great.
Doesn't matter if she was in a maintenence unit.
They are still combat units.
Sorry, think of something else.
Besides, the 'she was a victim' line doesn't wash. She didn't belong there to begin with.
And you know darn well what the Baathists did to her.
The same crap they did to even men captured during the first Gulf War.
Or are you that naive?

No, I'm not the one with the list of grievences.
You're the guy with a snotty attitude and a chip on your shoulder.
Better tone it down pal.
You've been told, you're acting like a snotty whiny little child.
Grow up.

First off, I mentioned that you guys sounded like children.

Like you do now?

Boo hoo, you didn't like being told that.

Apparently, you don't either.

Well go cry in your whiskey #3.

There's no crying on Free Republic.

My story? ARtillery, pal. 13B MOS.

What war?

What's yours, you insulting little squeek?

Did I mention you're immature?

You ever wear a uniforM?

Not military. I suppose that since I've never been in the military that you consider me un-American and a coward. (I had another former soldier tell me that here. Funny, that guy never seen combat.)

Or did you run screaming 'concientious objector!'?

Sure didn't.

No, you don't go to the level of the opposition. That's what the UN does.

Sometimes we have to go to the level of the opposition. If the only thing the opposition understands is strength, then that's what you have to do.

You didn't give orders to anyone?

I don't know, did I? I don't think I did.

Funny, I could've sworn you were being an insulting jack@$$.

Like you now?

I said and I quote,"All three: Jess didn't do anything that warrants the Medal of Honor."

Um, you forgot to mention the first part of that post. Funny how that happens.

That says all WHAT? ALL THREE. That means you and who else? I guess your comprehension isn't all that great.

What has this have to do with anything?

Doesn't matter if she was in a maintenence unit. They are still combat units.

Whatever. Then I guess I'm OK with females in combat units if they consider behind-the-lines work as combat.

Sorry, think of something else.

Why?

Besides, the 'she was a victim' line doesn't wash. She didn't belong there to begin with.

If she wants to join, then that's fine with me. She was in a maintenance unit. It doesn't matter to me whether you think it's combat or not, it looks like behind-the-lines work to me.

And you know darn well what the Baathists did to her. The same crap they did to even men captured during the first Gulf War. Or are you that naive?

Not at all. I'm not going to say something like that happened to her if I don't know for sure it did. I think that's very disrespectful to her. It brinks on an outward lie.

No, I'm not the one with the list of grievences. You're the guy with a snotty attitude and a chip on your shoulder.

And now you're the guy that is hurling childish insults. LOL Have you ever read about the splinter and the beam, or perhaps the kettle and the pot?

Better tone it down pal.

Another order. You seem to be under the impression that you're the boss here. Sorry, you don't outrank me, you've got to remember that that part of your life is over. LOL

You've been told, you're acting like a snotty whiny little child. Grow up.

Pot. Kettle. Black. Speaking of childish things, what's the deal with your homepage? You seem to have a thing for fantasy.

Actually, no.
You're insisting on being an insulting wanker.
And you are crying.
Does one have to have ben in a war?
You're immature?
I feel sorry for your mother.
Negative.
On edoes not go to the level of the opposition.
That's idiotic, and make sone a filthy swanker, especially if the opposition is a pig.

"What has this have to do with anything?"
Your comprehension is definately lower than normal.
"Whatever. Then I guess I'm OK with females in combat units if they consider behind-the-lines work as combat."
Sorry, maintenence isn't behind teh lines.
It's usually right at the lines dragging damaged tanks back a distance to get them put together again.
It's usually right under the noses of the enemy, under fire.
Try again.
"Why?"
Because Daschle sounds smarter than you at the moment.
"If she wants to join, then that's fine with me."
Sorry, if you haven't been in uniform, then you have no idea what you are talking about.
Come back when you do.
You also haven't been in the field and heard constantly how it's impossible to change a tampon. Oh, and the urgent mission that needs to be completed within time constraints needs to wait while said action goes on.
Sorry, again think of something else.
And stop repeating yourself.
You sound like a Democrat loser when you do.
You've gotta remember that guess what, you've never been in uniform, so your statements are snotty, arrogant, and useless.
You've gotta remember that the other side of things, being in uniform, isn't the utopian universe that the left would try to make it for women.
And you've swallowed the hype hook line and sinker.
And stop repeating yourself, I heard you the first time.
And considering you're comprehension is lower than my cat's, I doubt it'll be the last.
How about you actually take your attitude and try it on someone in uniform?
Go ahead and try it on a soldier, Or better yet...
JOIN.
THEN you can act the way you have.
Because if you still act the way you are after going through basic, there's no hope for you.

I'm going to be a cold-hearted, insensitive bastard here, and say that I thin I've had about all I can stand of stories related to PFC Jessica Lynch.

"She's a hero!" "She should get the CMOH!" etc... Enough is enough - what about the other members of her unit? The DEAD ones? What about THEIR families? Hmmm???

Enough is enough. PFC Jessica Lynch isn't special. She did her job. That's it. Period...

Actually, no.

No what?

You're insisting on being an insulting wanker.

Do you ever look at your posts? Do you not see the hypocrisy?

And you are crying.

Nope, there's no crying on Free Republic.

Does one have to have ben in a war?

Jessica was, apparently you weren't.

You're immature?

You too. LOL

I feel sorry for your mother.

I feel sorry for yours. LOL

Negative.

Negative what?

On edoes not go to the level of the opposition.

Sometimes one has to. Some only understand strength.

That's idiotic, and make sone a filthy swanker, especially if the opposition is a pig.

You have to get in the sty if you want pork chops.

Your comprehension is definately lower than normal.

About what?

Sorry, maintenence isn't behind teh lines.

They are to me.

It's usually right at the lines dragging damaged tanks back a distance to get them put together again.

She wasn't specialized to Patriots?

It's usually right under the noses of the enemy, under fire.

Patriots are?

Try again.

I don't consider behind-the-lines work combat.

Because Daschle sounds smarter than you at the moment.

You too. LOL

Sorry, if you haven't been in uniform, then you have no idea what you are talking about.

So only people in uniform should vote?

Come back when you do.

Nah, I think I'll go ahead and vote in elections. Maybe I can offset votes by former soldier Scott Ritter.

You also haven't been in the field and heard constantly how it's impossible to change a tampon.

She was in a maintenance unit.

Oh, and the urgent mission that needs to be completed within time constraints needs to wait while said action goes on.

Maintenance unit.

Sorry, again think of something else.

I don't consider behind-the-lines work as combat.

And stop repeating yourself.

Truths really bite, don't they.

You sound like a Democrat loser when you do.

You too. LOL

You've gotta remember that guess what, you've never been in uniform, so your statements are snotty, arrogant, and useless.

So only the military should have the right to vote?

You've gotta remember that the other side of things, being in uniform, isn't the utopian universe that the left would try to make it for women.

People can make decisions for themselves.

And you've swallowed the hype hook line and sinker.

What hype?

And stop repeating yourself, I heard you the first time.

You're repeating yourself.

And considering you're comprehension is lower than my cat's, I doubt it'll be the last.

Same to ya. LOL

How about you actually take your attitude and try it on someone in uniform?

Why?

Go ahead and try it on a soldier, Or better yet... JOIN.

Why?

THEN you can act the way you have.

Doesn't it suck when people won't follow your orders? LOL

Because if you still act the way you are after going through basic, there's no hope for you.

We'll never know, will we. LOL

Why?
You're four, aren't you.
Go back and actually read.
That's why.
When you serve, then you can badmouth me.
And you can also speak about the military.
As it sits, you're speaking of things you do not understand or know anything about.
You ever look at your posts?
"You have to get in the sty if you want pork chops."
No, you let him into a runnel and shoot him.
"Negative what?"
Negative means no, plebe.
"Sorry, maintenence isn't behind teh lines.

They are to me."
Nope, they aren't.
If you'd bothered to read, you'd see that.

"I don't think of behind the lines as combat"
You're truly naive.
There is no such thing as behind the lines.
Or haven't you figured that out yet?
And no, Lynch being in maintenence has nothing to do with it.
If the mission is urgent, you cannot stop to change a pad or tampon.
Too bad, drive on and bleed.
Callous?
Yes, but necessarily so.
One cannot stop for such things when something needs to be done.
I do so hate repeating myself like that.
But, apparently, you love it.
You obviously cannot read.
What part of "Urgent" and "Cannot stop" don't you understand?
What part of "it does not matter that she was maintenence" don't you understand.

Actually, if you repeat a lie enough, you'll start to belive it.
And you repeat yourself too often.
Say goodnight Bonzo.

Are you?

Go back and actually read.

Read what?

That's why.

Why what?

When you serve, then you can badmouth me.

You apparently think I'm badmouthing you now.

And you can also speak about the military.

You brought it up. If you don't want to talk about the military, don't bring it up. The only thing I said before you arrived was that she was a hero.

As it sits, you're speaking of things you do not understand or know anything about.

You brought it up.

No, you let him into a runnel and shoot him.

Yep. Some only understand strength.

Negative means no, plebe.

No to what?

Nope, they aren't.

They are to me.

If you'd bothered to read, you'd see that.

How?

You're truly naive.

You're full of it.

There is no such thing as behind the lines.

Is that what you tell yourself to make yourself feel better about Jessice having been in war and you not?

Or haven't you figured that out yet?

I don't consider behind-the-lines work as combat.

And no, Lynch being in maintenence has nothing to do with it.

With what?

If the mission is urgent, you cannot stop to change a pad or tampon.

Or take a dump?

Too bad, drive on and bleed.

In maintenance?

Callous? Yes, but necessarily so.

You already proved that with your intention of spreading potentially false rumors.

One cannot stop for such things when something needs to be done.

In maintenance?

I do so hate repeating myself like that.

You're making a habit of being hypocritical.

But, apparently, you love it.

Love what?

You obviously cannot read.

About what?

What part of "Urgent" and "Cannot stop" don't you understand?

Referring to what?

What part of "it does not matter that she was maintenence" don't you understand.

I say it does.

Actually, if you repeat a lie enough, you'll start to belive it.

Evidenced by you.

And you repeat yourself too often.

As you do too, as you admitted above.

Say goodnight Bonzo.

Another order. Sorry, you're not boss here.
