we could have easily gotten him when he was (supposedly)walking around the street the other day.

You are so right! Geeze we have had Intel. in there for many months for sure. If he was stupid enough to emerge from underground, he would have had a cap in his a$$. They might have missed him the first night, but all "appearances were canned!

Don't worry, he'll be back in liberal left heaven once we get back to talking about taxes and wasted gov't spending.

Brett "we found a chemical weapons dump" Baier? He's just as inaccurate as all of them.

Which report? I say again, the finds of the last few days have NOT been debunked.

Bloom was an okay guy. I thought some of his WH quesions were slanted, but he should have had Brokaw's job. Prayers to his wife and three daughters.

General Valely on Fox says Baaath leadership may be on Mediterranean coastal city in Syria and bunkered down in tunnels beneath Bagdad and Tikrit and plan to use Chem weapons underground, not overground. Again, Fox has NOTHING on this rumor of Saddam dead. Don't you all think they would have it - Sean would be breaking in with this information - if it was indeed really coming from "high administration officials"?

I'll bet the standing order from CentCom is to let Baghdad Bob talk for as long as possible. He is the best psy-ops operator we have going right now. Even Arabs, some anyway, are probably embarrassed to see his face on TV.

Some general or colonel (someone) on the O'Reilly Factor was saying that the "asset" who told the allies about Saddam's whereabouts that first night was killed by Saddam's thugs. Anyone here this anywhere else?

Figure it this way:

Saddamn was killed, kept on life support (No one would dare turn "off" the machine as long as one son was alive. One son killed immediately, or shortly afterwards.

Today, the second son died (from injuries in the first strike, or from bombs today, or both). Doesn't matter.

NOW - With both sons dead, there's no retribution from anybody in conplete power so Saddamn's life support is turned off.

Admin sources find this out (telephone intercepts maybe, phone taps, radio intercepts, who cares?) and spring the news -> Forcing Bagdad Bob to PROVE Saddamn islive. The admin doesn't have to prove they'red, Bagdad Bob as to prove he's alive....

AND HE DOESN'T HAVE TAPES showing Saddamn in the places still under Iraq control!

What's he gonna do?

Show Saddamn walking under the two swords? Or past the statue that was blown up? Going through one of the palaces that we've captured?

BREAKING NEWS MSNBC

MSNBC has breaking news that Saddam and sons might have been killed today by heavy bunker busting bombs we dropped after receiving good tips they would be at a meeting. MSNBC is the only one with it for now. Andrea Mitchell and Brian Williams are reporting on this, to Lester Holt.

If this is true, this is the biggest scoop of the war. and for heavens sake, scoops aside..the very best news we could have.

I'm uneasy because MSNBC is the only network going with the story....everyone else must be holding back.

Thing is, "high administraton officials" could mean the secretary to the assistant legislative advisor to the POTUS, or somebody equally low ranking saying this, i'd be wary, but I hope its true
