The shots of the riverbank are apparently from Beirut's Al-Hayatt. Two Bradleys are advancing up the riverbank. They appear to be strafing the riverbank. I saw some personnel running towards the riverbank about ten minutes ago. It sounds to me as if the Bradleys are handing out some 25mm fire.

22:03 PST (AP) -- Attack Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry entered the compound and began securing the building and searched the grounds.

They drew small arms fire from a clock tower overlooking the compound. Tanks quickly destroyed it.

Most of the compound was severely damaged from prior U.S. raids.
