I really don't know.

He goes to public school with conservative teachers. (His Social Studies teacher writes patriotic poetry in her spare time) And every summer for the last 4 years, I've homeschooled him in American History, the Constitution, the Federalist(sp?) and Anti-federalist papers.

Like to think he learned something.

I have read pieces by Meri on the elijah list. You can submit your email address and they will send prophetic/apostolic teachings and exhortations. Have been a subscriber for many years. It's free, and often very valuable.

Much agree.

Have subscribed to the ELIJAH LIST for years. . . even though the ads are annoying and overdone, IMHO. The prophetic content is much above average, I think.

I also subscribe to Pam Clark's TRUMPET WIND ministries--also at InJesus, I think.

I like Meri's groups capacity to dialogue which is not so there except on the chat channel with Pam's group.

Anyway--great to have the diversity of resources.

I also think Bill Somer's site is great to check out regularly.

I still am waiting for God to clean up the whole prophetic arena to a quality much above the average now.

I am having a difficult time reconciling the fact that Hollywood makes movies about how evil the Holocast was, with the horrible atrocities Hitler committed to the Jews and other people, yet Hollywood sides with Hussein this time. It defies wisdom and all reason. I am so sick of Hollywood speaking out against our government and our military and their being so pro-Husseins (Saddam and his murdering sons) that I can't stand to go to movies anymore. At our gym they are no longer playing Dixie Chicks for bike class. I think they will stop playing Sheryl Crow now that they know about her stance. Maybe if enough of us boycott Hollywood movies and music they will HEAR US.

The best thing of all is that you are talking to your son, discussing, asking him his opinion, what he thinks. That's really what it's all about in the end because for sure his peers are talking to him too and you definitely want your values inculcated early on.

Am certainly going to be selective about the DVD's I might buy--haven't bought any of those for many, many months.

Hollyweed is a surreal corrupt cesspool of greed, selfishness and arrogance--as well as of unrestrained desires of every base kind. Nothing worthwhile there to mentor!

And, a good friend of mine insured his kids were raised without having a TV in a very rural house. They would go to a friends for special events.

I think we will see the time when Holy Spirit is the only reliable AND available communications channel.

Certainly we need to hide THE WORD in our hearts and live it in our daily choices.
