Bumping this to our SF area cousins in case they wanted to add their after-action report here from the West Coast Theatre of Operations.

If one or more of you has a more complete ping list for SF area, please ping to that list.

Salute from DC FReepers!

How cruel, accusing the Code Pink "women?" of loving a man

YOU’RE STRUCK IN A 60s QUAGMIRE

JVB did NOT have my typo when he chanted his slogan. It was:

YOU'RE STUCK IN A 60s QUAGMIRE.

Fox should put out examples of the bias of the other networks daily. A few of Rush's video clips should do the job.

Is the freep still on?

No.

DC FReep was about 12 to 1:15 Eastern time. Our California troops may still be engaged with the SF Code Pinkos or may have already routed them.

I had hoped to bring two volunteers but pesky work interfered and they had to stay back. I believe I have found someone who can give the belly lady a run for her money. She has promised an appearance on the April 12th. She was very disappointed that she couldn't make the scene. My other volunteer, I refer to him as Reverend Pham, was also disappointed that work interfered. I gave him a quick debrief as to our activities. When I told him that we were 6 against about 20 (I'm worth at least 2), he said, "oh a Special Forces Team." I think he'll also make the 12 April scene.

When I first arrived on the scene, I used my best command voice to shout across the street "We demand that Fox News interview Saddam Hussien immediately." That caused the pink ladies to stop in their tracks. They had been walking in circles. I repeated myself and I think they did a BufordP tantrum. We are waiting for further confirmation on that. FTH and Angelwood were very pleased with my volume. I must admit that my voice cracked as I had not brought water (note to self, it's getting warmer now you need to bring water).

Oh yeah, as we left the area we sang in our best voices, “Hi-ho, hi-ho it’s back to work we go, hi-ho, hi-ho, hi-ho. That cracked our protective force up. As usual, we thanked the officers for protecting us from the violent radical left. All in all a delightful warm Spring Day

This was originally a stealth freep. The DC Chapter has an activities calendar that you can monitor to see what we're up to. Jim Robinson has kindly provided a link to the DC Chapter's Web page on the FreeRepublic Home Page.

Hey! how could I forget. Gary Bauer stopped by to thank us for being out on the streets. kristinn took analog pictures. BillF had his digital camera with him but I don't know if he employed it.
