We've blown the pipeline to Syria already (several days ago). Say goodbye to 250,000 barrels of oil per day Syria. heh hehI thought it was two pipelines one supplying syria, the other direct to the port to ultimtely supply france, germany and russia. Am I mistaken???

Re people greeting the Allies.
It is interesting that the further North the troops go they seem to be getting a better greeting than down in the South.
Perhaps this is due to the fact that they did not rebel, so were not let down, crushed and then persecuted as heavily. Thus making them less weary of being let down yet again.
