Question: I'm guessing that Saddam acquired his WMD, etc. via the Oil-for-Food program. Which means someone at the UN must also have been a willing accomplice, right?

Yeah, that was great. The whole show yesterday was good; as it has been all week. I hope he lets Kerry have it like he did to algore, after the San Fran speech.

I recall reading a report within the past week that Russian doctors had been called in to treat Saddam. This could very well be true, after all, how many times have I seen the words printed:
He's dead, Jim.
To: Dog
Fox News : Schroeder in Germany has announced he has changed his mind now.....and supports regime change in Iraq......... Riiiight!
Is that artillery fire in B-dad or bombs dropping?

We may even have Saddam Hussein Airport in hours if not already...How about we get them to rename it "Fox News International Airport"?
To: mhking

That reporting from Arnot last night was the most amazing thing I have ever heard.
I never, EVER want to be drafted, holy canoli! That sounded horrible.
And the part with the frightened family was just heartwrenching.

Thanks for the link, re. the busloads of Iraqis fleeing south from Baghdad. Could be a reason CENTCOM didn't mention this:
Of course, the US forces are being very careful about this!
Useful idiot-Marxist 'independent' reporter for Pacifica Radio, May Ying Welsh, (in Iraq on a US passport) reported from Baghdad this a.m. on the radio that she met about 20 Yemenis in her hotel who said they were going as suicide fighters south. They said they brought nearly 100 female Arab "martyrs" as well who were going to go blow themselves up, and they were heading out of Baghdad SOUTH towards Basra to engage the American enemy.
One wonders if this is disinformation (or overstatement, common in the Arab world) coming from behind enemy lines this morning via Ms. Welch (who should be held for sedition when she returns by the way) but nevertheless it will be good to be careful with civilians, even women, who can hide all kinds of explosives under an abaya or burqa.
