Seriously, though, kudos to you and John for all you've done, and for the pre-war upgrades that have kept Free Republic the best source of instantaneous news on everything. And thanks to the moderators, too, for being so cool about everything!

Jim, I feel sorry for you... You try and give us a heads up (for which I, for one, am grateful) and the wiseasses here on FR just give you a real hard time.Now, I've got a for real question: Will I need to be logged on to experience the down time or can I do it vicariously?
