I don't think the press should be on anyone's "side". They are not there to do cheerleading. They should be reporting the facts (and try to check them before broadcasting, will ya?) to keep us updated on how we are doing in this war. I don't want it sugarcoated or twisted to make it sound like something it wasn't.
Just report. Leave your personal opinions to yourselves.
