"They don't regret the remark, they "regret the distress it caused."
Correct-o-mundo!
I can see that you are a honors graduate in translation for Left-speak disinformation. The eight year course the nation was forced to endure under the Krinton's seems to have paid some dividends.

It says absolutely nothing! It must have been written by a lawyer.

Actually, the Lipton memo puts Lipton at a GREAT DISTANCE from the DixChix.
From the wording, it's clear that Lipton is "letting them twist slowly in the wind"
BUT I'm not sure Lipton can get out of its contracts, yet. Depends on the "allowable reasons" in the contract for cancellation of the sponsorship.

Nestea is made by Nestle, a Swiss company.

The Dixie Chicks have in the past shown their love of America in very public ways, such as by singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in January, for an audience of 930 million people worldwide.Well whoop-tee-do! I'll bet they love their Moms and it was apple pie that Natalie got fat on too.

Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, eh?
A pattern emerges...
Well, on second thought, they probably own companies that have appeal for the conservative element, too. That way they keep the income streams coming no matter what the political weather is like.

Damn, that is a great letter. You make me want to move to Texas, something I've been thinking about for some time.

I see that they don't market a loose-leaf blend. As a lifelong tea-drinker, this is my prefered fix. In any event, I will look for their products and any other alternatives to Lipton.
BTW, they have a recipe for the Bush's BBQ Beef on their website using their products. Better that than Lipton and the Dixie Chicks hawking recipes made with brie cheese.

It's the soldier not the reporter who gives you the freedom of the press.
It's the soldier not the poet who gives you the freedom of speech.
It's the soldier not the campus organizer who allows you to demonstrate.
It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves the flag, whose coffin is draped with the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag!!!
"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us."

I love this stuff. A flood of letters like this ought to raise a few eyebrows and dent marketing projections.

Maybe there should be another drum set up infront on the concert venues right next to the Dixie Dump Drum. It can be be the Lipton Tea Party, LOL

"And for an appearance fee of how much?"
I sure the Communist Party has a fee schedule for their workers, although rates might vary for Journeymen like the DC's and Master's like the Krinton's.
