I saw it also tonight on Brit Hume's report. I've seen Wolff a few times on television over the years, and have read a few of his NY Mag articles... he's always been an elitist a-hole, IMHO.

Brigadier General Vincent Brooks has been very impressive, by contrast.

How about that Reporter named Smucker. WHo was reporting In "REAL TIME" and moved him to Kuwait. You guys hear this? ALjazeera stood up for Him . They called him an experienced war reporter.

I heard the exchange between the General and Wolff this morning and I thought the same thing as Rush. Why wasn't a Brig. General good enough for this idiot? The only reason I could come up with was he didn't feel the black guy was up to his standards.

It's the first rank of General Officer...followed by Major, Lieutenant, and then General (4 stars) on occasion we have fielded 5 star theatre commanders....but we don't call them Field Marshalls...although Douglas McArthur would have arguably liked that one.
