The next pro-America rally is scheduled Thursday in Huntington, W.Va.,with two more to follow Saturday in Harrisburg, Pa., and Clifton Park, N.Y.

Glen Beck didn't organize the rally in Clifton Park. The local affiliate, WGY, for his show has been gracious to advertise the Clifton Park pro-troop rally after it had already been organized. We appreciate the help though.

That's interesting that they listed the Clifton Park show. I submitted it to the Glenn Beck webmaster to be included.

The host on WGY is the strongest voice in the area with a pro-troop message.

The Glenn Beck website is great about listing rallies across the country, whether he is affiliated with them or not.

Yes, he's done a fantastic job, no question about that. On the other hand, WROW (Paul Vandenburgh and Democrat Dan Lynch) has been boycotting the Clifton Park rally because Scotto got on the bandwgon early and WROW was left behind. Now WROW won't promote a pro-troop rally because it's being promoted on another station, pathetic.

Scotto will put WROW out of business in that time slot if WROW continues to keep their head in the sand.

They are a couple of petty idiots. Whe cares who started promoting it first? We should be banding together in support of our troops.

I imagine they thought they would do great once JR left WGY. What a rude awakening Scotto must have been. LOL

"When a media company takes an advocacy position on a significant public policy issue, it can certainly undermine the credibility of that media company's journalists," said Bob Steele, director of the journalism ethics program at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla.

I wonder if Mr. Steele believes this also applies to the editorial boards of major newspapers, such as The New York Times, one of the largest and most powerful media companies in the world. Something tells me though that Mr. Steele only applies this philosophy to media companies that lean conservative.

The thing is, pro-troop is not neccessarily the same thing as conservative. I think they miss that somehow.

Lately I have had some bad luck in my life. I was feeling really low and depressed. I tuned Glenn Beck on and he had me laughing and cracking up all morning. He's a good guy. His style is not for everyone, but he is a true patriot and American.
